Gigas socks are dropped from numerous gigas' in numerous areas. Their popularity comes not so much from the Alchemy portion, but as to the clothcraft desynthesis value.
One Gigas Sock can yield up to '8' Wool Thread's. So, whether you're looking for materials or a profit, this may be the best way to go if you're a higher level Clothcrafter.
