As part of the August version update, we will be placing new notorious monsters across multiple fields in the first installment of our efforts to add various notorious monsters to the Seekers of Adoulin areas.

We're also working to make these notorious monsters the next group of foes for the Ambuscade battle content.

Starting Friday, July 31, at 1:00 a.m. (PDT), the special Shami's Trove event is your chance to open a treasure chest stuffed full of items specially procured by Shami himself!

There are various items waiting to be had, including a Lungo's Thesis.

The Sunbreeze Festival and Green Festival are returning to Vana'diel and will be held during the period below.

As part of the Sunbreeze Festival, you can experience an energetic summer festival, including lively music and amazing fireworks. You can also obtain alter egos such as Mumor and Mumor II from the special Superheroine Stage Show in San d'Oria, Bastok, and Windurst. At the same time, the Green Festival is being held in Lower Jeuno, with a special cafe offering a variety of Morbol-themed items.

Also, being named MVP in the Superheroine Stage Show, completing the more difficult versions of the stall minigames while wearing the outfit you earned from the show, and exchanging points acquired from the Piscine Pursuits minigame can earn you up to one #FES dial key per day (Earth time), which can be used with the Gobbie Mystery Box. The #FES dial key allows you to use the Festival Dial, which contains spoils from content such as high-tier mission battlefields and high-tier avatar battlefields.

There have been countless items added to the game over the years, including some that were available via limited-time events that are not scheduled to return or otherwise only featured limited chances to acquire them. Therefore, we have decided to introduce this special opportunity on a trial basis to either make these items available again or provide an easier, limited-time method to obtain them.
The eligible items this time are the Chicken Knife II and the Uka Statue.The Chicken Knife II is a cute and stylish dagger based on chocobos. Also, placing the Uka Statue in your Mog House provides you with a Moghancement effect, so it's definitely worth playing through the event to obtain these two items.

As part of the July version update, we have added a new high-tier mission battlefield based on "A Crystalline Prophecy," which is one of the three add-on scenarios (*) previously released for the game. We are also planning to add a high-tier mission battlefield for each of the other two add-on scenarios in the future as well.

Other updates this month include revisions to the Limbus battle content, such as adjusting the number of floors in Temenos. We've also updated some of the game's default settings, including having the aspect ratio automatically match your configuration settings instead of defaulting to a 4:3 display.
