祖之太刀・ä¸å‹• Instead of numbers, they went a different route of naming this (Enpi is 1, Hobaku is 2, etc. and kaiten is 0). The first kanji (祖, so) means "parent" or "ancester". Fudo (ä¸å‹•) means "steadfast, immobile, firm". So this could be transliterated to something like "Ancestral style of the tachi - Steadfastness". Though I think it's more of a nod to "Fudo myo-oh", which is the Japanese name for Acala, one of the five wisdom kings in Vajrayana Buddhism. He is the destroyer of illusions and the protector of attaining one's goals.
