Assuming you are using the boots to kite, Trotters/Striders are better than skadi's because they don't have evasion-. Any other situation they perform the same.

Unfortunately, nobody does Salvage anymore and at the time Salvage was a big thing, I had no jobs that can equip Skadi armor.
