don't forget ebon was made to be used to be upgraded to the ebur stuff, so all the augments slots probably on there.

I'm only just starting to look into this now that it's released, but it could be that you have to etch the slot onto it (or whatever the process is called) before the npc will tell you if you can add more slots to it. I'm 99.9% certain it will hold 3.
