The maze lizards in crawler's nest can drop up to 4 eggs each, compared to the 1 that drop from most lizards, so it ends up seeming kinda silly to bother farming most any other lizard. They even respawn every 5 minutes so while there aren't that many there, it still is massively nicer to just sit in the one little area and get a dozen stacks rather than running across some places to just find a lizard that has a chance of only dropping one.
With TH4 they just drop those 4's an absurd amount.
