Used for Shantoto Mission #3 (that which boils the blood). For the love of God, people, do not overpay for this item. The fetch quests are annoying, but the synths are extremely easy. You'll be kicking yourself in a week if you shell out 50k for this now.
Spending 50k or farm for a few hours with current competition? You're right, that is an easy choice. Hell, if you're one of those people who need to have the add on completed within the first two days of its release, you'll probably have an easier time to farm 200k in the time it takes to get those items. And it's less annoying, especially if you end up breaking the synth and have to farm them again.
