Excellent offhand sword for WAR and DRK dual wield. Zantezuken was a better option until the augment system came out. Ranking it up gives you:

DMG +35
[2] Accuracy & Magic Accuracy +30
[3] "Quadruple Attack" +3%

This grants you a grand total of +18% multi attack on one weapon. It's very nice for boosting your tp gain and Decimation damage.

To make up for the haste loss on Zantezuken when using a hybrid set,

You can pair it with a Seething Bomblet +1 (R15) to cap haste easier while using Odin Head/Body with this weapon.

The HP drain procs often enough and tends to heal for about 150-200 HP when it doesn't resist. On older content it procs very often, it may be related to a targets magic evasion/user's magic accuracy.

The only draw back of this weapon is the 228 sword skill, but the accuracy from augmenting makes up for it.
