Thalassocrat, or at the very least Mezraq, is "top of the line for any DRG worth his/her salt" as far as AH weapons go. This lance isn't top of the line on anything. No DRG worth his salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, cinnamon or any other spice should ever use this.
I've actually seen these augmented with +3 Base Damage, +3 Critical Hit.
But why I'm posting today is because if you could get a nice augment on this, you could also get a White Tathlum+Brutal Earring+Rajas Ring and have a 6 hit build /SAM w/o using Aurum Body/Askar Korazin/Rose Strap.

but w/ augment can be a very good polearm.. this+rose strap or white thal can replace askar korazin on /sam if you have some problem of accuracy.. and can put on armor like homam body zahak mail..
A great choice for DRGs pulls in about 13.6% TP per hit according to FFXIclopedia, (testing should show about accurate, have not tried without rajas yet.) Short of a Mez, This lance is top of the line for any DRG worth his/her salt.
