Actually Rajah, Fudo has been shown to out parse both Unji and Unsho in the offhand.

They are not "clearly better" since you are obviously basing your assumptions on the idea that lower delay and ws modifiers >> 7-8 dmg along with +crit%. If you're going to go declaring that something is "clearly better", perhaps you should get some data to back it up.

The general consensus is the even though Fudo comes out slightly ahead in a parse, that you can offhand Unji and Unsho and still do just fine.

That being said, yes, perdu > fudo.

Pretty good Katana. At 75 its really nice with the Senj/Fudo combo.

Senji/Perdu = Great DPS
Senji/Fudo = great chigoe killer/weapon breaking
I tryed all and yes Fudo does outparse Unji and Unsho.

Unji/Unsho is fail simply because of the tp floor being changed. plus if you want 'speed katanas' then Perdu/Karasuageha would be better anyways.

Perdu:
27 DMG Delay 190
latent: 32 DMG, Attack +10, Accuracy +5

Karasuageha:
DMG 29 Delay 190
Assault: DMG33 subtle blow +1

Now im not advocating speed katanas in pt situations... but they are hella fun with craploads of haste gear lol.

Senj/Perdu is my preferred katana combo on anything thats worth a damn.

Senju/Perdu is the best combo imo. If you're lookin for the crit bonus you should off hand the Rai Kunimitsu over this one, w/ the wide selection of katanas this just finds no place. So many katanas are better than this one!
