Not going to deny that this is a nice cape, but a SCH tight on inventory is going to get more utility out of Gleeman's Cape. Gleeman's is currently the best Helix piece, not counting augmented items.
Prolly the best yeah, still a bit annoying for BLMs since it means losing +5 INT/MND on this slot, losing convert HP/MP +20, both of these attributes may be needed either to cap SS, reach 150+ INT for dots, either to force yellow.
Having this new cape and still being forced to keep ixion on our inventory is always :'(
As for the MaCC+3, barely beats INT+5 depending on the situation. Only talking for nukes, sea cape for enfeebling.
1.) This is excellent when your dINT is high vs regular mobs, xp mobs, bcnm's, soloing, etc.
2.) When your dINT is not high vs mobs like JoL, Hnms, Kings, etc. etc. you'll want something that increases dINT (like Ixion) to bridge your gap.
It's a situational piece, because remember, once you've hit the x ceiling on dINT, addming more INT takes twice the amount. MAB acts as a multiplier for the damage equation of nukes. dINT is your floor/ceiling. If your low to the ground, you can't multiply much as you can when you're higher.
But to get any real use out of this and or bang for your buck it would be best to have a high output of damage; because otherwise, you're getting like 10-30 points more on a nuke vs a lower level, regular mob. You'll see this excel in a burst or on mobs w/0 MDB, etc. (Or open-mouth Hpemedes.)
Gleeman's Cape will still be better for helices since they much more heavily rely on INT than MAB. For T4 nukes it will depend on what is being fought.
Before you all go out and start buying this, a couple tests on puddings.
On Iceday, with max damage set:
Blizzard 4, Ixion wins by 1 damage.
Freeze 2, Hecate's wins by 11 damage.
Blizzaga 3, Hecate's wins by 16 damage.
Bliazzard 1 2 and 3, Ixion wins by small amount also.
Nearly same results on normal day nuking with Blizzard also, with full Morrigans.
