Hey Blazza it's what us Flips and Fil-ams do... it's just a natural thing to speak in Taglish (equal parts Tagalog and English). Those that reside in this thread totally know what he's saying...

To answer your question: yes, I noticed it and I'm fully aware. I already explained a few pages ago that it's completely natural for me (or for any flip for that matter) to converse with other co-flips in TAGLISH. I have never considered that non-Filipinos will even bother (let alone be interested) in reading the content on a thread title that is completely in Filipino. I'm sorry if my Taglish is confusing you. If you wanted to know the meaning of what I said you could just simply ask me. There's no need to point out the obvious.

Also I don't think of something as disgusting as Bukkake. I can speak Chinese and Japanese too. "Bakuke" (pronounced bah-koo-keh) is Filipino slang for "crooked" or broken (the real word is "baluktot"). It's one of the new "street words".

The reasons I use Taglish may vary, it could be because it helps Fil-Ams who don't know current Filipino slang know what's the latest words to keep them "on the loop" (the Fil-Ams in my LS benefit from this, for example). Some actually learn how to speak Tagalog by speaking in Taglish first THEN conversing in full Tagalog.

Heh, I didn't mean any offence by it ^^ it just reminds me of this old Candid Camera thing I saw in French Canada. They'd have two people, one speaking English, and one speaking French walk up to a stranger and ask if they could translate for them, about halfway through the conversation, the English only speaker would start speaking in French, and the French only speaker would start speaking in English, and every single time, the translater completely failed to notice, and attempted to translate, by repeating the exact same thing that had just been said.

That and watching my Italian boss and his family when they talk to each other, they often switch between English and Italian without even seeming to realise.

As for your query, yes there should be an "ang" but "asan mga pinoy" is colloquially accepted since the point is already understood. In fact, it should be "Nasaan ang mga pinoy" but "Asan mga pinoy" is just as good since it's a colloquial short-cut, all languages have it and is "correct", just not technically/grammatically lol

I learned most of the Tagalog I know through my parents speaking Taglish to me...
I still can't speak it fluently but I understand most^-^

Tagalog is one of the hardest Asian languages along side Mandarin (I read it on Time years ago) because it's one of the very few languages whose grammatical patterns can be interchanged and still the meaning would be the same.
