so check this out. my friend's character was suspended for like the past 4-5 days w/o any explanation. finally, today, SE told him that his character is banned permanently. when he asked why, they say cuz they believe him to be RMT. he's been telling them he isn't and to give him any evidence of him being one, but they won't. *** sucks huh? I've known him for like 2+ years and know he isn't one for sure. also, that pretty much says SE can screw any of us over at anytime and we can't do ***about it ; ;
we just got him D body and K osode like last week too ~_~

Didn't say you have to actually do it. Anything about a really pissed off customer making a note assuring many others don't take purchase of their service will spark interest into any good business worth their salt.
Not to criticize but are you sure your friend didn't at some point buy gil? Maybe something from before is finally catching up to him?

You know Kay, the third party tools can be detected by SE if they apply a feedback to the signal he's logged in to.
If he was using windower or anything like that, SE can't detect the exact name, but they can see the third party tool.
From there, they assume he's RMT and provide the ban-stick.
I'm sorry that happened, but that my only thought of what happened.
