CONGRATS!!!! :'D
Out of curiosity, what did you get on your PCAT?
(I hope this isn't rude to ask ><;)
A lot of people I know were struggling to rank in the 75th percentile on the PCAT for UT Austin's School of Pharmacy.
I am soooooo happy for you~ :3
My interview notifications for med school should come in this March and acceptance letters come in late April/early May. ><;
thank you :D
i invested most of what i had into preparing. i chose to quit my job and study for about a month for the pcat (while registering for january classes) and was fortunate to get the 94th% on my first attempt. i don't think i could've done it had i been working still though. this was an "all-in" situation for me and i had to do everything i could to maximize my chances.
med school i can imagine is so much harder to get into, given the competition. i really don't like that they use PCAT and MCAT in these schools as an initial gauge of ability. some people just test well on standardized exams, and i have some friends who don't test well but i'm sure would be excellent med students.
