been a while since i posted in here i think. stuff with me:
playing XIV with oumy and ina,
had my first date last weekend was lots of fun..

and... yea... that's it basically =/
had a cookout though yesterday. my great uncle pissed me off with sharing his views of how "interracial marriage and homosexuality are disgusting because that's what the bible tells me i should think" and him basically agreeing and supporting that pastor that said gays and lesbians should be penned in electric fences....
other than that though, things have been good. i have my second date on friday :3

Then there's the whole China thing. Whether it's the censorship or just the slow internet in general, I'm pretty screwed either way. XD I didn't try logging in to XI while I was there last (mainly because I had to spend 12 hours a day going to class and studying/writing essays x.x) so I'm not sure if even that will work hahah. I do plan to buy a VPN subscription though, which should help with some of the problems (though probably at the cost of more speed) so who knows lol :D
Yeh I get the feeling XIV isn't very laptop friendly XD. If you google "Can you run it" if should give you a site where you can put in a game's name and will tell you if you can and how well... I'd link you but my connection is sucking (took 10+min to log into steam) so not even sure it will load for me.

Laptops generally have video card issues for most things unless they are old... Mine is good on evertyhing but that and since it's an integrated chip I couldn't upgrade it so I ended up saving up and buying a desktop. Now my laptop only really sees use for movies in a long car ride or something.
When I got my desktop the guy kept trying to point me to the integrated ones and I was all like "Nope not doing that again!".
