Scruff, I just became so gay for you I don't know what to do about it. I'm listening to Dimmu's new album currently and am seeing them LIVE in a week and a half!

I would had loved to see them live, before Mustis and Vortex were fired. It's a shame, but their new album that just came out has 3 amazing songs. I have quite possibly listened to Gateways 1/200 times.

Born Treacherous, Gateways and orchestral version, and Chess with the Abyss are my 4 favorite on the album. Shagrath's use of Industrial effects on his voice is win, the medieval orchestra is amazing, and the double bass in those 2 parts on Chess with the Abyss is amazing, just like the Chosen Legacy.

Cradle of Filth is pretty badass too. Not a big fan of Dani's vocals 100% of the time, but they do put out good stuff. New album coming out in 1 day, and I can't waits :P

Lol if it wasn't for Cradle I wouldn't have ever listened to Dimmu.

I was playing around one day, listened to Nymphetamine Fix, then saw a link on youtube to Dimmu. Well for a Black metal band, I thought the name looked interesting, so I listened to one of their songs, Progenies. Listened to it, chin dropped to floor, and realized I had found true symphonic metal. And a beastly clean vocalist. Muthafucka got skill!

i'd put kmfdm/mdfmk very firmly in the industrial camp

still a big fan, my deceased ipod had every kmfdm/mdfmk album >.>

i'll continue the metal/industrial theme we've got going on though



in love with the extended guitar solo, absolutely brutal(as was manowar's, though i prefer the arch enemy solo)
