I know we're the lolzy server in the FFXI universe but we do endgame right?

I mean besides: 24/7, Heavenly Knights, AvantGarde, Doghouse, Paradigm, Government who else is out there?

Too much has changed since beginning of the year and I'm wondering who the players are in that space...

Thank 24/7 for ruining our server. And thank us for being weak enough to let NASA screw us up. We used to be one of /the/ servers. We became crap, especially after the holocaust last year destroyed virtually every major linkshell.

OP forgot two of the biggest shells, probably bigger/more endgame in a sense: Zealot and Chroma. Chroma's always been a giant. Zealot is ex VV / ex Eminence/Will. Kind of on the decline right now.

Famille is the most well known JP HNMLS, to me. Ex SecondCA.

Most of the big ones are named. I think Deviance is gone now since Demonhunter persuaded Ikuni to hand over his char. Not enough relics I guess.

I may not like DH but his shell does accomplish things efficiently. I don't know what his current linkshell is called--maybe it's just a continuation of Deviance? He used to run VIP Elite.

Gish runs a JP shell called WildGeese, which at the very least does stuff like take down the new fomor hNM's etc.

AzeureusSky is a decently-sized EU shell.

Maybe not lolzy, but a hollowed shadow of our former glory. A non-Asuran-native shell continues to dominate the HNM scene. We have no AV or PW kills under our belts. We have always sucked at besieged (though idc about besieged) and campaign. Even the drama has died down.

If there's anything good about Asura right now, it's that a *** lot can be done with pickup groups. I've heard from some server-transfers that it's easier to get things done, mix-matching specialized shells or PUGing it up, than on the server they'd come from.

Only cause bots continue to come out. 24/7 is the only shell who's entire structure involves botting and RMTing. How else can their leaders afford to spend $7,500 on 3 NASA bots, and how much they spent on their new bot.
Not from lack of trying though.
Probably cause nobody cares about besieged and only go there for skillups on their jobs that they Qufim or Lesser Birdy Level Sync'd. Nice thing is, nobody ABs, and those who try, usually don't suceed.
I think it is because of the Salvage Ban. Asura just stopped caring.

Avant Garde broke, and I think reformed into SkyBrite or something like that.

I have to ask Ccl, last I saw him was in that new shell.

For the EU people out there looking to do endgame, I thought I'd mention LS that is capable and worthy a mention Bellerophon; we just never made much of a fuss of ourselves but I thought to plug us in this topic. We basically do everything endgame related but camp kings. Limbus, Dynamis, Einherjar, SCNM, Bahav2, sky, sea et cetera is what we do. Events generally starting 7pm GMT, sometimes earlier. We mostly consist of a weird bunch of UK, German, French and Scandinavian people. :)

So basically if you're a EU player looking to do endgame ( or just play at EU primetime), but not ready or don't want to camp HNM, Belle is great and competent option. If you're into HNM and more, then Chroma is your best bet, a lot of very cool and nice people there too. I also understand 24/7 has their fair share of EU population enough to have events at these timezones as well.

AG is still active, we lowman all the standard endgame stuff.
