November 2022 Version Update
Report from Takutu about the new recipes
Golden Shell took 30+ kills to get, desynth'd into 2 gold nuggets for NQ result. Nothing about the Aurum Shell yet. At least we know both synths seem to be desynths. Edit, pic: FFXIs new endgame is how well your bots are set up and avoiding bans...

Although, we don't know if they'll put MDT II on higher tiers of Duban yet. ilevel Oegis would be cool and all, but I'm still holding out hope for something novel like Reprisal Damage +500%. As they say, we have MDT II at home. nTNL = pTNL+pD+(Diff*1.1)
Where n is new, p is previous, D is delta and Diff is difference between last two Deltas. 49-50 should be approx: 3,354,604~ # Ninja edit as I forgot the import part! Got from a blue chest from B box. Also from boss. It is NPC sellable. Offline

I asume people still using Rayke only and steel cyclone with SCH and GEO nuking to get 1 lucky kill then just amp cheese the rest. 40 INT does like nothing when not getting nuke walled and casting in right order. What strategy does your group use that would be better? Our group prefers skillchaining between RUN and COR and we generally try to actually kill for RP instead of cheesing, so any info to potentially improve things would be welcome. Bit late checking back to the thread, oh well. Ragnarok.Martel

As they say, we have MDT II at home. I'm all for some novel and interesting stats on the new shield. But higher spikes dmg is one that could back fire. So other fun ideas. -Turms hands effect would be epic. Recover HP on block. -They could dig Ochain's grave deeper and do recovers X MP on block... Just make sure it is not converts dmg to MP on block.. -Massive shield mastery+? All the TP. -MEva? -Allow the shield to proc "blocks" on spells? A "blocked" enfeeble would cause a resist, nukes get reduced dmg, etc. This one would probably be complicated code wise, so I considering highly unlikely. I've very curious as to where they will go form here with Duban. But as they've shown a willingness to completely crush old REMA shields here, it still feels like they'll just put the boot on Aegis' neck next, and add MDT II. Asura.Aburaage

Got Eikondrite from red chest from C Bhoot
Not wanting to start a new thread if there is one, but is there somewhere discussing how subjobs change with the rising levels? I'd be interested to get this information in one place for everyone to see, if it hasn't already been done.

Short answer yes, it will generally be the better sub at M45+.

Do you need to go past 10-1 in the missions to get the upgrade items for stage 2 or did you just have a prine weapon and run sortie?
I did 9 red/blue boxes and didn't see anything on my first run out Offline
