What's interesting to me is they used Reisenjima armor but also Shadowlord armor in the illustration. I wonder if that's a hint to the storyline. Maybe an ilvl 119 version of the armor?!?
Thought the dark relics weapons was just artistic freedom but then I saw this pic of the goblin holding what looks like a dark Ragnarok.

If people still believe on what SE says at this point, they should review their own beliefs.
Personally, i stopped believing them since they first said REM would not be upgraded, and that was at early adoulin.

Oh, they absolutely believed that at the time. They only reversed course because of open revolt from practically the entire playerbase.
Like, they've definitely told some whoppers in the past (customizable UI, anyone?!) but I think they actually believed that one when they said it.
