So, Adapa Shield has a "Physical Damage: Reprisal" stat on it. With tonight's update, what happens with this Shield other than it's DEF stat getting doubled? Probably nothing since no stats other than DEF appears to have been changed on any shields.
I think he's talking about how the shield gives you Reprisal, and now Reprisal has some effect of increasing Shield Skill.
Which I'm quite curious about, myself.

He's asking in lieu of the changes to reprisal. Which I think the changes were simply for the spell and not the shield effects. Though we will have to wait and see

One completely new aug has been added:
"Enh. Mag. received dur. " Enhancing magic received duration.

As normal, augments are not in the .DAT files so we need to wait to look at them in-game. They did add the new augment "Enh. Mag. received dur.".

Of all the UNM items which one(s) got enhancing duration received plus, that's a fun guess.
Has to be something PLD or RUN but the shields seem too on the nose.

Yeah, we know this. And higher level stuff as well including HELMs. I'm just saying it could be actually be much more 'viable' and 'better' at doing this from a purely defensive aspect. (and if a PLD wants to just DD they could use blurred with less fear of getting killed in TP or WS sets, which is why i mentioned blurred +1 in the first place)

Plus nerfing obsidian frags convertion from opd stones.
And the nerf was severe

Waste of resources.
For new/returning players?
Giving them a whole new content to do that will keep them busy for a while and will also raise the influx of stones on the market, some of which are still sought after.
I can see the benefit for Alluvion honestly. Not a lot of work for them, potential benefit for a good amount of silent players who don't have a voice over these boards but trust me they do exist.
I'm more confused about the change to the old Skirmish stones.
Who the *** still uses those pieces?
I can't think of anything still useful.
Gende+1 hands for BRD song precast maybe.
But lol at that.

Total guess, but maybe. To get people to actually do skirmish for stones, instead of using copper vouchers.
I made all my ergons solely from copper vouchers. That's a little broken.

Only two reasons i can imagine:
Either they thought it was too "easy" to collect all 600 stones to make an Ergon
or
They thought it was too easy to collect thousand frags then calling Kirin every floor on alluvion skirmish.
