Yea, this was stupid. Not the decision by itself. As a conservative, its not the government that should tell what people must do or not (if its allowed by laws ofc). Just leave patients and doctors decide whats better. There is no science in this, it isnt (or shouldnt) be the president to say if a pacient must be medicated with A or B.
