Ff7 Remake First Real Trailer.

Its definitely a concern that it might be too close to the failed FF15 combat system. I am still hoping for a turn based RPG, Persona 5 proved it still works.

FF15’s combat was not the issue - in fact it was probably the best part of 15. It’s incredibly poor story pacing and on-rails second half was.

It was still bad. 15 was a bad game from top to bottom. I don't really want to see any elements of it ever again.

Ahh hell I had one bad experience so I can never have a good one ever again.

Gameplay looks stiff but it looks good. I'll wait until the game is running on my console to really judge it, who knows, maybe they'll make a good game again after so many years of garbage.

My main issue with XV was its garbage gameplay. Very poor balance, way too much brainless cheese, it wasn't enjoyable at all.

I enjoyed Kingsglaive more than the game.

Tifa wasn't shown because humans have yet to develop enough computer processing power to render that number of polygons the otaku programmed her jiggly lady bits with.

Honestly didn't like any of the voices, hopefully the JP audio is available.

FFXV is a bit of a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed elements of the game but some were just mind-boggling dumb. Combat was rather a mess, essentially holding down the same button doesn't count as combat. The story was so garbled and even then it STILL wasn't complete in the royal edition. Characters were good but required the DLC's to fully understand their positions and motives. It was gorgeous, but required a higher end pc to make it sparkle to it's full potential. What really got me was the almost $100ish+ you would have spend to get everything to actually get a full understanding of the game. At no point in time should I buy a full price game, all the DLC's, a movie, a mini series, and a 8-bit side game to fully understand a FF game. That last bit really speaks to the gaming industry as a whole though.

If the royal edition is on sale for $30, grab it. I wouldn't spend anymore on it. But hey, those CGI meals Ignis cooks up look amazeballs and taking pictures with your friends was kind of neat. /shrug

Far as me, I won't buy another SONY after the fact they had crap RPGs on the PS3 when it first rolled out. PS1 and PS2 had awesome RPG on there roll out. FF/RPG Fan-addict

Pretty stupid reason to not buy a PS4, especially since it has had plenty of great RPGs.

Anyways, I'm content to wait for E3, this game was announced in 2015 and since the reveal we have basically had zip. We knew the plan was to release FF15 > KH3 > FF7 remake, but still, to go essentially radio silent for 4 years is pretty crazy.

It looks like the plan remains to release 3 episodic games, which is also kinda loony. Here is hoping it works out, SE and ambitious plans haven't really worked out since..um...never? The good thing is, they have the story, so we don't have to worry about that TOO much.

No joke i squealed like a girl when FF7 remake trailer came out. I'm excited. They need to shut up and take my money already.

I was pretty "Meh" at first, but they're selling it well.

I hope that soundtrack is also available digitally. Video shows a CD and I haven't owned a CD player in at least five years. Game looks good though. Will need to grab up a PS4 for it
