Friend just had a 9 noise Venus.
Followed by a 7 noise then mimic.
He did 7 Venus Orbs. 34 noise, 5 thud, zero loud thuds.
Venus is looking like ***.
No connection with the chest using ASE.

I did three Mars runs last night using the introductory orb from the first RoE quest.
On the first, I found the mimic.
On the second, I opened two noises and one thud, so figured I'd cut and run at that point. The thud turned out to be a Cehuetzi Claw. The noises were frayed sacks of Opulence and Fecundity.
On the third, I risked 7 chests - 6 noises and a thud. The noises were frayed sacks of leaftip +1 stones etc. Not sure what the thud was, possibly a frayed sack of Snoworb +2 stones?

Got a loud thud on Mars orb for a kaggen cuticle and yggdreant root.
Used a Mars orb and got one thud, all the rest were noises, was able to win the gamble and only had the 1 coffer left as a mimic. Naga Samue was the least crappiest item I received.
Has anyone managed to defeat the Mimic yet?

wow, so this is pretty interesting that the bodies can drop with just thuds.
There’s some type of “rare material” or something from thud also.

I just got loud thud first chest exited and got regal captain gloves. not bad :)

I've seen more bodies/hands/rare ***drop in the few days this has been alive than the entire catalog of online screenshots and in-person /checks of people's gear in the actual game (have seen zero from the actual event). What the ***???? This content doesn't have a time gate associated with it either. So for the forseeable future, players can literally buy chances at getting rare bodies, simply by creating and levelling mules/accounts. Wow.

Venus orb, only opened 3 chests because my first Mars orb had the mimic as the first chest and didn't want to push my luck.

"Thud" may just indicate increased drops, and perhaps Venus orb loads more possible "Thuds" with a higher chance at better gear. I got a "thud" and "loud thud" and i only got chironic body; rest were skirmish stones, geomancy spells, and garbage.
Also how you guys getting so many loud thuds?

Maybe the more relevant question is how you're getting so few.
The same reason why someone can get 10 mimics in a row and the next person can go 9/10 for 10 runs straight. Luck based event is luck.

Remember that luck is inversely proportional to skill, if you have ***luck your skill is too high. The only way to get good gear from treasure boxes is to have no clue how to use it properly.

I am pretty sure ra/ex gear from thud wont drop if you already have it, it's much better to go as a group instead of solo. Is this what the NPC was trying to say about more treasures when going as party?

I also had a thud and loud thud run and only received Herculean boots and a couple misc craft items
