I recall an ambu with imps and a soulflayer where Last Stand COR was the DPS of choice.
I am sure there are other magic resistant mobs that you don't want to go near to use Savage Blade due to terrible TP moves.

Omen? Reisen HELMs? I've never needed it in Dynamis. It's more relevant to your party setup and less relevant to content itself. If your group do something with ranged attack rangers then last stand is COR's default WS. Ranged setup works on many things, Dyna D, omen, reisen HELMS, ambu. Naegling + Fomal is great for self 3-step Light SC, too.
Not my most-used gun anymore, or even third, but it's still solidly in the rotation. Soooo finally got around to getting Arma, specifically to help with low man W3 dyna clears with ranged only DPS. I was wondering if I should still use the Crit AM3 set over full malig for ranged TP if we aren't using frailty? Pretty much only use Langor/Malaise bubbles though we do throw a chaos roll in there.
Is it worth going for the white damage crit AM3 proc? *Bump*
I'd wager that you'd be a lot better served upping your WS-frequency as much as possible in that scenario than trying to juice white damage on something where your crit-rate is probably floored and you probably don't have rogue's roll.
That's what I figured. Thanks

Anyone had the chance to see how Demers. Degen +1 R15 fairs out with Blurred+1 offhand?

Has a good amount more delay for a bit more acc. Don't see it beating blurred in most cases. COR has a higher dagger than sword skill as well.
It's something like +29 delay for +19 acc. If you really need acc, you're probably better off switching to Tauret or Rostam.

The main problem for COR's Savage Blade WS set is accuracy. It's really low, because WSD AF and Relic pieces have no acc. If you add DM augments with a lot of WSD, but not much accuracy on top of that, that SB set has one of the lowest accuracy among all WS sets. Daggen adds not 19 accuracy, but 32~33 (accuracy +45 and dex +10 instead of accuracy +20 on blurred knife +1). This is imo a very good trade off for slightly higher delay. Siren.Kyte

I don't completely disagree with your overall point, but the relic boots do have accuracy.

BIS SB set for COR is around 1020 accuracy + whatever accuracy you have on herculean head and legs (which might even be 0 on some high WSD DM augments) Asura.Aller said: » Would someone be willing to share their accuracy sets for wave 3 dynamis D? Late to the discussion, but what is the double attack rate on blurred knife +1?

IIRC it’s about 40%

so most agree Demers. Degen +1 R15 is the offhand of choice now for Savage Blade ?

Trade off of more accuracy for higher delay / slower tp.

edit: scratch that! COR isn't on it Offline

Been looking into new r15 UNM gears recently, some thoughts:
Degen+1: as others point out, probably an acc swap for SB set. Although my max dmg SB set only has 1034 acc so degen only push it to 1060ish. Most likely I'd still need to argue about 2 madrigals at 1060 acc which still sucks. I don't see anything game changing, personally. Alhazen hat +1: Low defensive stats but very high acc and racc. It doesn't seem to beat carmine head with set bonus for acc but it should beat AF+3 head with set bonus for racc. Kustawi+1: another upgrade for racc for +65 total. Enmity- is icing on the cake. Gazu+1: good acc swap. 91-96 acc and 42 dex. Cacoethic+1: good ring for last stand, AGI, racc, enmity- all in one package. This should replace hajduk ring for racc if you are using it. Kentarch belt +1: BiS melee acc belt and savage blade acc swap. Warders charm+1: interesting piece if you are doing multi step SC. Btw, I checked our current highest ranged accuracy in TP bonus gun and naegling, it seems like we can hit 1155-1160 racc unbuffed. Food=100 racc, WS bonus=100, honor march=58, that's around 1413 last stand accuracy in a melee party using TP bonus gun and a sword. In other words, in ambu D we can do last stand -> savage blade 2 step solo light without changing the weapon and it should do more dmg than using SB twice as long as mobs mirror SC damage. Should work in ambu VD with distract too. Or Marcato honor march. Edit: count the belt acc wrong, edited. second hit of last stand won't get the 100 bonus accuracy, though

Ramuh.Austar said: » second hit of last stand won't get the 100 bonus accuracy, though It doesn't matter, since the point is to land the first hit to start the SC so savage blade damage mirror itself. The first hit damage will be low regardless since it's done in a very low wsd set and TP bonus gun. Offline

Anyone able to explain how Arma is being used in low man dyna-d? I searched the thread, but only found a couple comments about owning the gun, really curious how the strategy works.
