That sounds like a hell of a lot of effort for some Gil I don't need
People gotta find another infinite quest turn in or something goofy. Crafting and npc-img things is just not cool or clever enough for me.

People gotta find another infinite quest turn in or something goofy. Crafting and npc-img things is just not cool or clever enough for me. It's just a bunch of automation. you buy 80 stacks of A 80 stacks of B 80 Stacks of C and you automate moving from sack to inventory and you add a sellnpc line every hour and you come back in 8 hours to reup with 30m new gil
If you took 18 accounts with a bot per water cluster camp, it takes maybe 3 days to fill the entire 70k clusters then you're off to the races. Asura.Eiryl said: » Ask the jp that posted about it and/or find them doing it. (he said 30 on asura, but assume it's not just happening on asura for hundreds) His account got suspended from the OF now.... ***. lul. Said they go to upper jeuno and the alc guild. So if you stand there and see 2-3 dozen anons, start askin questions. (also yeah, for 20 years I had no idea crystal drops were based solely on killing party, I thought if you had 6 "signet" in an 18 alliance it would still drop the max) I'd have to dig for it, but I do have a screenshot of a GM telling me that the more people in your PT, the more stuff drops. I remember posting it on killing ifrit back in the day, oh the memories :D But yeah in the SS, the GM said that the more people in your PT, the more drops because each person in the PT brings a chance for a drop, I'll see if I can find the screenshot! That's specifically true for specific kinds of drops, like crystals and seals (for example, if solo you'll never see more than 1 seal from 1 mob, but you can get multiple if in a party). It doesn't apply to normal drops.
If I recall, seal drops are normally based on the number of parties in an alliance PLUS a time wait. When SMN burning was a thing, we’d only see a max of 1 drop per party, every 5 minutes. Even if we had everyone lotting/passing them, we would only ever get 1-3, out of 150-200 mobs

so that's why they didn't make a proper inventory rework. guess too quick zoning would throw off barance.

(it was brought up before, but now a JP reported it so it'll actually get fixed) curious how they manage to get enough crystals for hundreds of characters to do that, it's not like the AH is bottomless and there are very finite numbers of elemental spawns just collect them from their CP bots? This just in, AMAN Trove will have the mimic eat you before you even enter. It will then rampage and eat everything in Vana'Diel until we cough up enough money for a GM to get off their lazy backsides and do something.
Nooooooooooo revamp to AMAN trooooove.
On one hand this is good, it means more potential drops. On the other hand it's bad because it means it's gonna be even harder to obtain Ashera Harness for me Q_Q KujahFoxfire said: » Wonder if its about time they updated the loot pool? All the 'recent' HTMBs are missing from it from Odin/Alex/Lilith/Cait/Shinryu. Would also be nice of them to cleanse some of the older junk thats still available. Nothing worse than getting Vexed Gages from a Loud Thud >.> Or perhaps even some incentive to actually fight the mimic would be good. Guarantee a gil drop like Orpheus Sash or Epam ring. That would do it, lol. Offline

Winning rank 2 bonanza on a mule is still everyone's best chance at getting one. As for trove adjustments, there's far too much *** in the higher tier loot pools. 'Noise' should be escha weapons/armor and mats/sacks. 'Thud' should be pulse weapons, omen boss/midboss armor/weapons and HQ mats/+2 sacks. 'Loud thud' should be omen bodies and OU drops. Rank 1 bonanza weapons added to loud thud? Time to update the bonanza for the 20th anyway. Offline
if they add anything significant to the loot pool or restructure it i'd be surprised if they don't also add a new entry item and vouchers to trade for.

Winning rank 2 bonanza on a mule is still everyone's best chance at getting one. Actually that's a lie, I won a rank3 once, and a rank4 twice (back when there were still 5 ranks). Nothing since when they changed the Bonanza to a 3 ranks system. Overall I'm very happy for everyone that they're updating the AMAN Trove. Long due! I'm just concerned about myself at the chance of seeing the odds of me getting an Ashera Harness get even thinner. But yeah, hopefully while adding some new rewards they will remove some of the old, now undesired rewards. i also figured it doesn't necessarily have to mean that, if they adjust drop rates for rare stuff in correlation to the lootpool increase you should see them just as frequently as befor, shouldn't you?
then again i don't see them bothering with adjusting drop rates of old equipment. While they SHOULD remove all that ***from the trove, they're absolutely not going to. (and special dial)

I assume you actually did the rank missions to unlock trust for maat, but if not, did you skill them up and solo it (warrior maybe?) or do you clipper on whm and just run away for 5 minutes. It's absolute misery whichever route you went and the primary thing that keeps me from having a thousand trove mules (and the fact that I simply don't want to do that much trove no matter how much money its worth) I predict they told the JPs in December so they could hoard vouchers.
