I just went over this. We had very clear evidence of wrongdoing from the Clinton campaign, even well before the election. There is no comparison to Trump's situation. With Clinton it was, "exactly how many laws did she break?" With Trump it is, "did he even do anything wrong?"

Except Clinton actually committed crimes! There's plenty of evidence for this.

A recent Harvard poll. I'm having trouble finding a source that doesn't have a clear agenda (on either side) with how they present the findings. The gist is that Trump himself is unpopular with millennials, but when it comes to several broad policy measures that do not have Trump's name attached, the majority of millennials are on the same page as him.

You want to know the main difference between the Clinton emails and the Trump/Russia investigation?

Publicly released evidence.

See, the Clinton email investigation had testimonies and publicly released evidence, along with statements by the investigators that concluded that Clinton did break the law, but she wouldn't be prosecuted due to lack of intent (which never stopped any prosecutors before). Now that Comey's out of the picture, it's highly possible that she may be prosecuted due to his inference.

Meaning that he prevented any charges being made for political purposes. You do know there's an active investigation going on on Comey's handling of this whole issue, right? Like how he handed Clinton's aides immunity deals before they were even questioned, or how the FBI destroyed evidence that pertains to the investigation, or how there was no charges brought up to the technicians who deleted subpoena evidence, even when the technicians knew that what they were deleting was subpoena'd by Congress.

Now, for Trump, there hasn't been any publicly released evidence because there isn't any. We know there isn't any because we have a very highly leaky FBI, who, under the direction of our former FBI director, would allow leaks to happen without punishment (I mean, it's been happening for several months now, and yet, no evidence shows him even attempting to close such leaks). The only evidence provided any collusion is a highly false dossier. One that has no bearing to be included in any normal investigation, but our now ex-director not only relied on it, but was willing to pay more for more falsehoods. And probably knew that it was false.

I think you just hate whoever is in charge at the moment. You have an establishment complex or something of that nature.

The difference is pretty obvious: Confirmation Bias.

If the FBI was "highly leaky" wouldn't we have known about the Trump probe shortly after it started in July? You would think right? This is the FBI after all, they leak everything. /eyeroll.

Why do you need evidence to suspect someone of wrong doing? If I had evidence, I wouldn't be suspecting them. Are you just going to wait until its too late or push for a investigation. If there is no evidence and he didn't do anything wrong - then why not do a full investigation. What do we lose? We gain the peace of mind that our president isn't colluding with a foreign superpower.
