P&R Election Day 2016 Special
peps need to chill the *** out. the president doesn't hold a ton of power anyway. If he creates a gestapo and starts rounding up the ***, then I'll start getting excited. plus he's openly said he doesn't believe most of what he's been saying over the last year, he was just saying it to get elected. It's all an ego stroke, he has no ill-will towards that community, imo.
I wanted Bernie to win. He offered the same hope of Change that 08 Obama did (odd, being that he's an old white guy).
Hillary didn't offer hope at all, she didn't even try. Her strategy wasn't to win the race, it was to sabotage benie's car in the pits and trumps tires to blow on the track. I. Hope. She's. Sobbing. I think we'll see a little regression of progress in that vein, and it's going to be frustrating but...life will go on and positive change will happen, though at an unfortunately slower pace. Show the GOP how they can profit from supporting the community and they'll find a way to work you in. No pun intended. Offline

Rationality denounced its citizenship a while ago. I'm not trying to be funny or cliche but when you look at our ever-accelerating rate of political correctness and how liberals (as they've had the power and presumed Barry's Blessing was all 4 more years needed) have just pretended everyone that matters is on board... FEELINGS got hurt by a party on track to make it a civil offense to hurt feelings. Most critics of the "pc police" like to ignore that... they didn't seem to mind when people got called out for ***they didn't care about or agreed with but now lol.... And most defenders love to ignore how preposterous crap like trigger warnings and safe-spaces has soaked into our culture. We've gone from repressing one side to repressing the other and while some might call that justice or something akin to "black like me", it just galvanizes people. Yes, racists are monsters but not every issue is so big as racism. Intelligent conservatives aren't saying you can't be transgender, they're saying maybe parents shouldn't be deciding that for five-year-olds. And yeah, they don't want to explain to their own kids at such a young age. Depressing them how exactly? And were you there to *** at the people who were repressing, as you said, the previous group for their could treatment of the others? I wouldn't necassarily say all racists are monsters... but it's that kinda talk that always interests me in these conversations... oh racists are bad and bigots are bad but stop calling people out on it at all! As I've said before some people do see it where it isn't just like others will deny it even exists... why do good upstanding people even want to say things that can be misconstrued as racist or bigoted? Can you show me all these parents deciding their 5 year olds should be trans? Let's not get too carried away patting ourselves on the back / sucking our own *** here, fellow republicans. Fewer people/republicans voted for trump than voted mitt romney in 2012. That's horrible...
The only reason we won is because democrats didn't vote. Over ten million democrats that voted for obama in 2008, didn't pull the lever at all. I'm curious to see who didn't vote and why... but holy crap we (republicans) have got to get our ***together... the democrats aren't going to fall on their own swords every time YouTube Video Placeholder

It's infested social media and repressed groups, institutions of "higher" learning are embracing it more and more.
Pretty much any topic that might hurt feelings, even stuff like conservative speakers, gets a TW so people know their feelings-weelings might get hurtaru. Frequently, this is paired with safe-spaces where the topic, at least the offensive-side, is prohibited. .. I'm saying people are saying maybe parents shouldn't be deciding their own yong child is trans. Valefor.Omnys said: » You don't know what a trigger warning is? Glenn Beck and his cadre sure changed their tune fast. "JK GUYS. GO TRUMP!"

I'm also looking forward to the meltdowns, I'm sure the SJWs will meltdown during the next four years but also, Trump has a massive ego and, like it or not, he wasn't really built for the presidency...which is a tough job full of stress, criticism from every direction, and the constant need to ignore, keep your mouth shut, and fake a smile. I almost half expect resignation before he's up for reelection. I'm saying people are saying maybe parents shouldn't be deciding their own yong child is trans. Ok... but is that actually happening or are you just saying nonsense for nonsense reasons? If it is happening only maybe? They definitely shouldn't be deciding that for them ever... I wasn't even aware it was an argument that people were deciding this for their young children though... so are people actually doing this? Candlejack said: » all the dems who stayed home yesterday will come out swinging harder pffft. you said they were going to stomp our balls this year, what happened? This Trigger Warning/SJW ***has been getting out of hand for awhile now. Yes, I have to enforce some "don't hurt each others feelings" rules here but the fact that people have gotten so soft that they need a warning that there may be something they don't like or disagree with is honestly mind boggling. That's life, grow up.

Basically some little boys are a bit more gentle or some girls are being tomboys and parents are "accepting" that now rather than trying to force them into traditional gender stereotypes. It's not like seven-year-olds are getting hormonal therapy. |
