Got my Burtgang to 119 last night, waiting on HTBM campaign in hte update before I AG and start pumping swartz in it. Working on Souls and horns for Ochain atm.

Hello Paladins, I am so sorry if this is an obvious question or you are sick of answering it, I've done a search but can't seem to find the answer, what spells do you actually use when /BLU? I can't seem to find a list at all so I know what I should be getting & using. Thanks in advance! :)

My quick list with reasons. This is just a base you can work from:
1 healing breeze: used for "Auto Regen" trait
2 sprout smack: used for "Beast Killer" trait
3 wild oats: used for "Beast Killer" trait
4 power attack: used for small stat boost
5 pollen: used for small stat boost
6 cocoon: used for Defense boost (+50%)
7 blank gaze: used for single target Enmity when necessary
8 jettatura: used for long recast high conal Enmity
9 sound blast: used for emergency AoE Enmity
10 sheep song: used for AoE Enmity 1/4 (and "Auto Regen" trait)
11 geist wall: used for AoE Enmity 2/4
12 soporific: used for AoE Enmity 3/4
13 stinking gas: used for AoE Enmity 4/4

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the Vocane ring the best Adoulin ring option for PLD? Wasn't sure if Weatherspoon might be preferred due to QM and FC.

can't beat that argument. Honestly, with options like Defending ring and Gelatin ring, kinda hard to see the value in vocane ring

Vocane Ring is excellent so you don't have to give up more important slots for knockback, or if you want to gain even more knockback resistance.
It gets ruined if there's any other players or pets in range though, so very situational.

Having capped gear haste is n't a bad idea for Fast Cast sets. I always cap that first along with high or capped DT so I don't melt.
It's a struggle to make a precast set with greater than 60% FC where u won't keel over if something happens to hit u hard :/
I'd 100% avoid using Enif legs in any set where u are engaged or in battle. For prebuffs it's nice of course, or in low danger situations. I play vanilla client so it's an obvious choice for me, but anything pre-item level in battle scenarios, gear swap or not, where u are n't under SP or sentinel is asking for trouble.
I was actually browsing the thread to view other peoples' take on max fc sets for ideas cause i'm updating PLD stuff now especially this set below cause i don't like it lol. I'm aware i'm missing a couple pieces like meebles neck, enchanter's earring, Arjuna breeches (which i have) and others but cba to do that.(again this was made pre-unm augs)
Posting this one mostly to note the pros and cons of 65%+ Fast cast Vs. 40% or so Fast cast with defensive properties.

My max FC set (pre unity augments set) has about 66% atm, but only 2305 HP, (56% PDT with aegis, 28% DT, 31% MDT, 28% BDT 1507 defense no buffs or food with /blue). It's was missing a few things, namely enchanter's earring, and a capped 6% non-DM augment on ody feet. I was using a 5% ody leg augment as well.
-Usually use this precast for buffing when not in battle since paper pld.
My precast set below is used while in battle (used mostly as a precast for SIRD stuff) or w/e is only 47% FC, but it maintains capped gear haste, PDT (68%), MDT (87.5% with aegis, 50% with srivatsa), 3081 HP and 1794 defense without food or buffs with aegis equipped and /blue)
-Caveats are that I have 4/5 merits in SIRD, BDT is a bit low at 39% with aegis, better with srivatsa at 47%, and my max MP is not ideal in this set at 822MP.

Gear haste will only help your recast if it's on when the spell goes off, ie in your midcast set.

I don't know why this keeps floating around, but you can't get stuck in your precast set if you're using gearswap. Precast and midcast get sent in the same packet, it's impossible to have your spell start but not equip your midcast gear.

Meh, its easy to cap interruption rate on PLD and when you have Ochain or Priwen you are blocking fairly often to 100% of the time.

Nothing has really changed for PLD so most GS you'll find work. The one on the first page of this thread is updated for 2020, and works just fine. Here's mine, it's a modified version of Kinematics PLD Lua that basically just adds sets/toggles I prefer and adds blue magic rules. Works just fine for me

Sword question. PLD isn't my "main", but its well geared and decent enough that I bring it out for VD Ambu, Ody nms, etc. when needed. I find myself a majority of the time now essentially idling in Sakpata swapping in necessary items as needed. I got a max aug Brilliance very early and have just stuck with that for years. I'm finishing up a Mythic atm and torn between Lib and Burt for my next one, but that will take me a lot of time to finish anyway. My questions are is Excal worth making? IDK how potent the added effect is but it seems like that would sync well with Sakpata (alot of Mythics for Sakpata jobs seem to have taken a hit tbh, not that thats why you wear Burt). I'm also curious about Sakpata sword on PLD, the stats are great, but idk if it's worth buying one to replace my Brilliance.
TLDR: Are Excal and Sakpata sword worth making/buying atm for PLD?

Honestly I'd just stick with Brilliance for the extra Enmity though Sakpatas sword you can swap some DT elsewhere and have some extra fast cast.

Excal is simply okay, sakpatas goid simply due to the phalanx swap, as stated brilliance works fine. Su4/5 sword aint too bad either

I personally love Excal, it hits pretty hard but the aftermath on Knights of the Round is nothing to scoff at.
The massive regen and refresh is a life saver in any fight that nukes your HP/MP. Fights with curse *** that keeps bonking your MP down are heavily offset by that 3 tick refresh, it adds up to a lot.
I've had plenty of fights where I would have normally run out of MP and had to lose dps to pop off chivalry, and instead I didnt because of Excalibur carrying me.
Burtgang shines more in fights that dont do dumb ***to your mp/hp and its more about pure raw tankiness.
But I would use Excal over Burtgang for fights that do stuff like Curse or "your hp/mp is now 1, lol"
