I dont know how well known was Roberto Bolaños work in other countries, but here, in Brasil, his tv shows were pretty epic, very popular, and a lot of fun.

Well he was famous on Latin American countries. I don't think English speaking folk even cared about "Chespirito", "El Chapulim Colorado" or "El Chavo del Ocho"...
