Hahava's Mail [R]

Quick question: The rarity designation for Hahava's Mail on BGWiki says (R)7%-15%. Is this figure based on having achieved the red proc beforehand or simply the blanket drop % in general?

I've been soloing Hahava in hopes of getting my Hahava's Mails that I need for the HQ Ankusa pieces, however getting a successful red proc solo as BST/DNC is somewhat rare. For reference, I'm using 3 Rubi and 3 Cobalts each run.

The data on ffxidb doesnt record the light levels. It is only of all the people who run guildworks so it can record the drops. Capping lights make the drop rate 3 times higher. It is probably better to farm the gil and buy it then spend the time to try and get the item.

price usually gives some indication of the rarity

Thanks for the info. I can afford buying the 3 I need, but I'd rather farm them. Still though, if too much time is spent on it I may have to take the plunge and fork over the gil. :/

Or better yet, just form a group of about 5-8 players who will join. Would probably be much faster to do x6-12s and convince the group to proc lights. That drop was already rare enough before. Soloing is really the longest route possible for that drop.
