I've only seen it played, but I did see a lot of "If only I could use <power-up>..."

Also a lot of "Space jump would be awesome right now."

You just gotta remember where ***is. You'll be like "damn I can't get that energy tank". Then you come back a few areas later and pick it up with your new abilities.

Sounds just like any other Metroid I played. Except I just didn't have the said power rather than being 'denied.' I guess it's the same concept.

Well that's all fine and dandy, but what would bother me is knowing you CAN get it, but just refuse to. I can understand not being allowed to use super bombs, and even super missles... but space jump? Really, what's the harm in allowing the use of space jump or grapple beam? I know I know, it's for the game's sake, but logically speaking here... come on.

I don't do ***like that, ***needs a gameshark. Sometimes, if you're playing for the story of a game, and ***is stupid-hard, you gotta break out the gameshark.

It's actually a lot less stressful. You don't have to go to a certain place in a specific order to get to a certain area involving puzzles. You just kinda move the story along and you'll get it eventually.

So it's as linear like FFXIII?

This reminds me of Castlevania: Symphony of the night for some reason. I remember playing when I was younger and seeing ledges that you couldn't jump up to. It pissed me off until I got the ability to shape shift into a bat. Then I showed those ledges who was boss!

Well, FFXIII was just kinda.. meh. From what I understand, you put up with *** for 7-12 hours then you get a little freedom in like... one area with side-quest that aren't really that fun.

As for Other M, if a chick is gonna be the main character, I want her to be either independant, using whatever she needs as she needs to, or in the case of Terra Branford and ONLY Terra, to be shy-ish.

if they made a game with about 100+ hours of senseless gun fights, unadulturated violence, semi nude women needing to be saved, buckets of blood, and a bazillion weapons... I'd play it.

I like the way the story was told in Metroid. It made it sound like I was reading a book. I might just give up on some items and finish the game. I wanna know how it ends and I don't need all the random *** missles.

You mean the missiles Samus probably already has but is too pussy to use, because she's ***-whipped or something? Yeah who needs them?

I never go for 100% my first play-through with games (except XIII since I didn't want to do -that- over again anytime soon).
