So I went out to FoV last night on DRG. I found that the last page in Western Altep is pretty much the best ***. DC mobs and they're not hard to find either. Only prob is everything that aggros like them damn Roc family birds and Cactaur. Seem like everything in that zone just wanders wherever they please.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the zone. I've had a whopping 2-3 PTs in that region in all my time of playing.

I loved partying in that zone - the beetles would respawn rather nice. Seldomly got aggro.
Meh, had a couple kuftal PTs. Wasn't anything impressive. I did a lot of syncing around those levels though due to GFs char being lower at the time.

I've only PT'd on beetles in that zone, but that was on my BLM ages ago. Otherwise it was BLM and BLU in QSC enterance from that zone. I actually prefered those zone over GC, CN and Kuftal. Kuftal was nice since it was more skillups during the party, but fightng crabs took too long and no RDM means very loooooong fight. Best thing to happen to me for a Kuftal PT was main healing as BLU.
All those Altep parties rocked when people actually SC'd with the right element for my BLM. Made the beetles/anticans die fast.

I am of course an old timer and draw most of this experience from before lvl Sync and FoV.

Woot just got my revenge on Tegmine. He wasted my DRK a few weeks ago, never took a single hit on THf/NIN lol, 10 minute fight extremely easy, got the Aptant of Durus synergy item, shame I have no synergy skill lol.

i misread anyways.
I've done parties in Lower Del. Tower for 24-29 just to skip the first jungle. Didn't really take long since we basically ran around the whole floor killing everything with 8 people and a PL.
