FFXIAH Linkshell Ni
I was gonna go get miso soup for lunch, but on the way to my car i saw a great parking spot. So, i said *** it and moved my car. I went back in and hit up the salad bar in the cafeteria. I hadn't got anything there since they changed food service companies earlier this year. got a pretty good sized salad for 2.83 after tax. A good deal, but the veggies had a weird chem taste to them. Dunno if I'll give it another shot.
I poisoned your salad... you have 7 years and 42 days to live...

Good times. 3/1/30! =D When Mos and I played last week with his buddies, I went top with Aatrox and got 5/1/17! It's a miracle!!! /pats self on back On the flip-side, why have I frustrated myself with Ashe for so long? Probably should have been tossing 'naders and tidal waves from the get-go. /dunce Have you been playing a little Spath? The few times I've been on I haven't seen you? Work, I assume? Hey Nik do something about this shitty LoL discussion...

Your difficulties with Ashe, Zah, have probably improved your positioning. Everything benefits you in some way in LoL typically. It's such a ridiculously nuanced game. Ashe is a fun champ once you get her down. She's my preferred ADC.

Ashe is a fun champ once you get her down. She's my preferred ADC. I have to say, it is rather satisfying to gauge a runaway's position, and pop them in the woods! Those are few and far between though. I do like her in a way, but more for 3v3 than 5v5. New people like to start as ashe, but she's so squishy. i don't think her kit is very friendly to people who don't take adc seriously. I think graves is the best for non hardcores and new players.

I think graves is the best for non hardcores and new players. And slow! God is she ever slow! Ashe is slow-ish in that she doesn't have any movement speed steroids or passives, but she doesn't need to be fast if she gets that first shot in. She's a very hard chase-down ADC. Pair it with a Phantom Dancer and Blade of the Ruined King and she'll maul anyone who decides to turn and run.

Usually at the end, I have Berserkers/Vamp Scepter/Infinity/Phantom/Blood Thirster or the axe thing (the name escapes me right now). Edit: If you need armor penetration, get Last Whisper. /nod I'd stop at a zeal and bilgewater and finish ie before turning the others into pd/botrk.
And flav I'm ok with seven years. What's there to do after 34 anyway?

Any tips for Janna/Nami?
What I looked starts up with the usual wards, pots, and makings for a Philo. Then, up ends in Shyrulia's (sp?)/Ionian Boots/Morell's Tome/Mikael's/Ageis. I have no clue on nami, but your janna is pretty goo. You seem to jumpy sometimes and spam your shield when you don't have to.

Yeah...The overly cautious and/or panic mashing is still there. That goes away with experience. The more used to chaotic situations you get, the more methodical your actions become. Safe shields with Janna never hurt though. They're a deterrent from engages, especially if the shield gets large. I've been overwhelmed by a Janna/Vayne combo that went heavy on the shield (my support was like Lv20 and easily intimidated, and the two we were laning against were my rank), just laid the shield on Vayne before she'd engage or poke, making it incredibly safe for her to do either whenever CD was up (Janna maxed CDR first).
Oh! I forgot! I told Mos to use Berserker's on Darius, but I'm not totally sure that's right.
Darius is a bruiser, so he probably wants to roll Merc. Treads for the tenacity. If he has tenacity from another source (Rarely but sometimes it happens), Ninja Tabi is a good alternative. If an Ashe or slow-based champ is fed, Boots of Swiftness can counter that partially as well. Always check if you need Tenacity though. Fear/stuns/roots, etc. Fiddles is a perfect example. Without Tenacity, that fear is nastyyyyyy.

Any suggestions for full build so I can direct him back here?
EDIT: Someone got a smart mouth with him last night about an object. :( DOUBLE EDIT: For Mos's Darius. Forgot to clarify. TY in advance! On my champs, I roll Boots/2 Offense/2 Defense items + Misc. depending on the situation. Darius is kind of an AoE presence, so this is how I'd build him. Defense items and offense items vary based on the opposing team. Ranked in order of importance, imo.
Offense item choices: Hydra (1) Black Cleaver (1) Maw of the Mort (Counters AP) (2) Last Whisper (Counters armor) (3) Defense item choices: Randuin's Omen (1) Warmong's (3) Banshee's Veil (2) Spirit Visage (1) Mercurial Scimitar (Counters AP/suppress/snare/stun/slow) (2) Sunfire Cape (2) Guardian Angel (2) |
