It's a hybrid course. If you don't read the syllabus and don't do your work it's not my problem...especially when she mentioned it in class too.
I've only done hybrid/online courses, so I know how to manage my work...these other *** though....either drop it or do your damn work on time....I don't want to hear their excuses as to why they couldn't do it....

Let me just put this out there too... So say someone does fantastic work and understands the info taught to the class better than anyone ever before in the history of the class!!!! but they never really hand in anything on time. It's not that they don't understand the subject matter or that they can't do the work just have issues with time. Should someone who can ace the class be failed if they can't do stuff on time but someone allowed to pass the class because they half *** everything to get by with that C on time?

For me though, and this is just personally, I wouldn't waste my time on something like this as it doesn't affect my grade and I really wouldn't care about anyone elses grade. Now if my grade was lowered or something because of that then I would be pissed lol.

Well the whole thing with that too is he is making a comparison of his own life to someone that he doesn't even know. For all we know she could be working two jobs, going to school, raising a kid and fighting crime on the weekends (added for dramatic effect).
Either way when you try to compare yourself to others its not gonna work because you're not that person and that person is not you.

Were assignments pushed back? I was under the impression that she just got an extenstion for the one paper not that anythign else was pushed back. If so would any material not be covered that would have if this would not have happened?

That's a different story completely. If your losing out on information because the teacher decides to push things back than that is an issue. The fault lies with the teacher though and not the student as it is there responsibility to get all the information out. you can easily extend a person's due date without resorting to falling behind on lectures. Honestly, I don't understand why the lectures are suffering... If a person got an extension I don't get why that forces the teacher not to continue. But anyways that;s something you should take up with your professor or head of the department if you find that to be an issue.
