It's a hybrid course. If you don't read the syllabus and don't do your work it's not my problem...especially when she mentioned it in class too. I've only done hybrid/online courses, so I know how to manage my work...these other *** though....either drop it or do your damn work on time....I don't want to hear their excuses as to why they couldn't do it.... I hate it when others get special treatment b/c they don't know how to manage the course when it's all given to you.

Because people are being given special privilege for no real reason. "I *** up, reward me", "Okay! Sure!"
Even though everyone gets the same bonus, everyone else already did their work. Why the *** should the people that didn't get more time? They're the ones that *** up.

It only gives the people who were too lazy or dumb to do their assignment more time.
I am cool with getting bonus points, when it's either a. earned or b. fault of the professor.
No I'm not cool with letting someone have more time to do something that they had ample time to do. There are 2 due dates for papers; 1 is Wednesday night by midnight online, or hard copy in class Thursday.
I don't understand why it's so hard to follow. If you don't do your work, your grade should suffer. That's how I feel. And people like this is why I will never be a teacher of any sort.

You won't be a teacher because people don't do their work on time? I would think you would want to be so that you can fail them and not give them any extra time lol. Besides if stuff like that bothers you well you're really not gonna excape it. I'm sure at your next job there will be someone who is not as good at it as you are and you will be upset that they are making the same or more than you are.
But my original thing... I still don't get why anyone gets upset over it lol. If you really want to go for broke just suggest your extra points for those that turned it in on time lol.

Because if it's personal, you contact the professor beforehand in private and deal with it that way.
I dunno about you, but I work my *** *** off to get my grades, do my work on time, while cooking for my apartment, helping run law society and a creative magazine, and hunting down freelance jobs.
So why the *** should other people just get off the hook?

Edit: Wouldn't your time be better spent continuing to pursue your own goals rather than fretting over what someone else got that you didn't?
