You can be sheltered and have an experienced life. I had a pretty conservative upbringing, but my parents pushed travel to expand our minds. It depends on what your idea of "life" is.

If person 2 hasn't been through it, they will likely never fully understand. :-( They can still be sympathetic and supportive, though.

Can be if you're stupid enough to go ape-turds with money you don't have, but I see what he's saying. It totally rings true. When you get older, life becomes more monotonous. Take advantage of the minimal responsibilities while you can.

Not so much a communication barrier as an experience barrier, I think. Let's go for an awful example and say one of your birds dies. I can be sad for you because I know you would be sad, but unless something equally as important to me (like one of my dogs) died, I wouldn't truly know the depth of your pain.
And even so, everyone experiences things differently. We may feel very much different about the same thing, because we all have varying degrees and shades of emotion.
I think it's somewhat impossible to know what another person ever truly feels. You know how you might feel in their position, but that may or may not be what they themselves feel. The best you can do is give them support, comfort, and a good ear to listen.

anyone know how to remove an item that's in "wanted" that we acquired, I keep getting emails. I don't see a remove option....
There's a delete button to the right of the item in your 'Wanted' section
