Plug-in Issue

I don't know what the issue is and I have no idea where to begin to fix it. I am brand new to windower, so the most simplistic problem is probably what is going on, I just don't know what to look for or what it would take to fix it.

My issue, as best I can tell, is that the Guildwork plugin doesn't seem to communicate with anything. I have disabled my firewall altogether in McAfee Internet Security Suite so that shouldn't be it and I am running Windows 8.

I have a Guildwork account and it is synced to my FFXI account (linkshell comminity). FFXI runs, Windower version 4 runs, every plugin built into windower that I use (clock distance and draw distance) work. When I try to log in to /gw login (email address) (password) nothing happens?

I have no idea what to look for as to trouble shoot the problem.
