Help With Getting Plugins Going On Windows 8

So I just got a new laptop that came with windows 8. currently have classicshell installed so i have a start bar, and have downloaded windower. Windower works fine, and can run the game no problem without crashes. What i can't figure out for the life of me is how to get plugs ins going. When I open my windower folder its just empty. From what i remember when i did it all on my desktop there should be like a gui, as well as other folders in the windower folder. So now i dont know what to do to get plug ins goin. Do i make a new folder for them? any help would be awesome, as im not very computer smart when it comes to stuff like this.
