With Sushi alone I appear to be capped on most Delve things as PUP/WAR (w / Rigor Baghnakhs)

(some NMs require BRD and/or COR buffs but it's not all of them and if you're meleeing a Delve NM you should probably have BRD+COR buffs anyway)

I can't help but feel like people are really overestimating the evasion on these things

ItemSet 39309

Fully augmented STR Path Brais, Fully augmented DEX Path Rigors.

On spreadsheet, does better than with AF3+2 Legs. It's pretty obvious it would, but just to confirm.

Isn't there an ACC/ATT/DEX path for these? That would surely be better. And the DA+2 STP+3 Attack+8 necklace pulls ahead of Rancor without having to worry about DT, too.

For the light melee armor, supposedly the paths are atk/acc/str, ratk/racc/agi, and eva/acc/agi.

That would be mine.

Directories:
Code
plugins/
  spellcast/
    <charactername>/
      xml files

XML files required:

mnk.xml
Mote-Config-Include.xml
Mote-Rules-Include.xml
optional (it's not active in the default download): Salvage-Include.xml

Place those files in the above specified directory. Make sure to get the version of the includes that matches the XML you downloaded -- r3 or r4 are the latest, with r4 being somewhat experimental. The version you posted above is r4. The pastebin files are labelled "Mote-Config-Include r4" and "Mote-Rules-Include r4".

If you downloaded it directly, and didn't see my user page, it's at http://pastebin.com/u/Motenten

Correct, which is why I went with att/acc/str on brais. Awesome to know about the necklace though!

Hey, plz unnoob me.
Why did you guys chose path B on the Rigor and not Path A. I've only been 2h dd in Delve and understand that you might not get (or want) madrigals while farming fodder mobs, but with songs/hunters/sushi + (focus/aggressor) AND a lot of acc on rigor even with the str path and a lot of acc on gear i dont really see the point on the NMs.

Have never parsed my acc on mnk on Delve mobs or anything but that seems kinda overboard. Or do Dex+10 (which right now is ridiciously expensive btw!) help that much with shijin/crit(what mobs?) that its superior to path A?

I'm also having trouble with this decision. I know most folks are choosing the DEX path but it seems like a pretty complex choice to me:

- It's usually easier to swap in gear for extra acc if you need than it is to change your weapon, so the raw acc and acc from DEX on the DEX path doesn't seem like a strong reason to choose that path

- MNK's high melee:ws ratio suggests to choose the stats that favor white damage more (STR)

- But in some cases the DEX will help white damage more (dDEX)

- Higher base damage means we need more STR to cap fSTR

- Shijin has a DEX mod but the fstr boost from STR would still help a little

- The augment path that you end up choosing on your Bozho pieces will impact the relative benefit of stats on other Bozho pieces and Rigor as well (this point makes me think that I might be overthinking this, since there's probably going to be multiple solutions that are all roughly equivalent)

- It costs a shitload to upgrade these weapons to where you get a large chunk of a stat anyway, so perhaps choosing the path primarily based on the stat that it offers is foolish anyway.

Has anyone come up with a decent stat model for Delve trash and Delve NMs (excluding the really evasive ones) that would be reliable for spreadsheeting?

thanks

Trash mobs you will cap accuracy with the buffs you're likely to have and NMs can be heavily debuffed

Augmenting:

An augment path requires nearly 6000 points to max out. At 100k per 10 points given the price of Airlixirs, you're looking at 600M to max out a weapon if you wanted to power through it, which obviously isn't very reasonable for the general population. Fortunately, the weapon is still fantastic without being maxed out.
My heart skipped a beat here, but you forgot to divide by 10. It's ~60mil.

For DEX Rigors, I'm just going off the assumption of what others are doing.

I'm Rank1 on DEX Rigors for Delve NM's most of the time and for PUP (since Alternator is pretty badass).

If STR Path comes out ahead in the long run, hopefully I can retract Rank1 and switch. If not, there's always Oatixur to look forward to.

You can switch but you lose all progress on the previous path. I'd take weapons at least to rank 2 for 8 of the first stat and 4 of the second.

the augment path on Manibozho is kind of linear for MNK since it has no Dex based melee accuracy path. you will pretty much have 10 STR 15 attack and 10 acc form any piece you get from it.

How much do you have to rank up Brais to make them worth using over Thaumas in low acc situations?

To roughly match or beat Thaumas:

Rank 2 (4 acc) for weaponskills. Rank 8 (7 acc) for TP.

I'll make sure to get evidence when I do a zone without eva spikes or thf mobs. Not saying that you should be using curry in a zone with thf mobs obviously, I just forgot my sushi.

There seems to be a legend about eva spike every 3 minutes when the message is up. In morimar I never noticed it. What I noticed however is mobs hitting much harder for a few seconds.

It varies by zone

Ceizak - Evasion Boost
Foret - Ice Spike
Morimar - Attack Boost

So the devs posted that they are going to push RME top tier again, trading a little of DMG for hidden procs. Apparently in the sword example he gave excalibur is better .. so lol. I think this mean I'm still a supersayan.

Since coin weapons were originally just intended to be used for Empyrean weapon skills, based on the concept, I believe that instead of reworking them, they can be used to open the dedicated weapon skills (with certain level and job restrictions). We are currently considering the adjustment procedures necessary for this..

Victory smite Impetus up, SSpiral impetus down?

Can only imagine how much these weps will cost to upgrade, or how flooded WoE is going to be;

I already have 85 h2h from before I did vere, so at least I have all that NM camping out of the way.

Will be nice to get Ukko's for war and Fudo for sam as well.
