Would anyone mind posting their lullaby set for Vini? Trying to get brd going again since I got back and still have a lot of work to do, but didn't see a lullaby duration set on main page and was hoping I could take a look at someone's set to make sure I'm not overlooking something. Thanks in advance.

This should give you the longest duration: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/User_talk:Funkworkz/gearsets#Midcast_-_Lullaby

edit: this set gives the most magic accuracy (not counting ghorn, marsyas gives 10% longer sleep) on top of the most duration. some items are not required if you have 5/5 troubadour, as that is 100% song accuracy similar to elemental seal.

TP (/NIN: 35% Dual Wield including cape. ~half a percent of haste off cap):
ItemSet 350220

Evisceration:
ItemSet 350221

Low-Acc Mordant Rime:
ItemSet 350222

I'm sure I could squeeze another 5-10% increase out of BRD DD by tweaking stuff, burning stones on Chironic, making multiple melee Ambuscade capes/Linos, etc. I capped my JPs and am out, though. I don't store my BRD gear, but it isn't a Wardrobe job.

This was great thank you. If I needed more range on Horde Lullaby, which harp would be best, 99 Daurdabla or Blurred Harp +1? If I'm understanding the math correctly it looks like Blurred +1 is better, but NQ blurred and 99 Daurdabla are the same. Just wanted to double check in case there's something different about when the bonuses are applied that makes the math work out differently. Thanks again.

Blurred +1 would offer 10% more than Daurd 99. The NQs are the same, your correct.

Blurred+1 does offer 10% more duration indeed.
Daurdabla *might* offer slightly larger radius (check the values Reain gave us many pages ago) thanks to the +20 combined skill on it.

I know you probably meant it just as a simple comparison, but writing it just in case so other people don't get mislead: 5/5 Troub is *much* more powerful than Elemental Seal.
Can check the difference trying to sleep Albumen's dds with Eleseal Lullaby vs Troubadour Lullaby.

I think square-enix might be onto us. This month's intense ambuscade doesn't seem to reliably sleep more than once even with troubadour on VD.

Yep. I meant it as some people don't realize 5/5 is 100% sleep, similar to ES, and want to stack both. I didn't take duration into account.

Indeed this month's ambuscade adds can only be slept once. That throws ES out the window...

By the way, you're wrong. There is no combined augment and the cap is 15.
Want me to post screenshot of combined?
I only have a +12 acc/att, but another guy on Asura has 14 acc/att

I assume the cap on singles is +20 simply because I got a +17 (?) attack while trying to get better augs recently

I've personally seen combined skill ONCE in hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of trades. I too believed it didn't exist until this friend of mine said I was wrong and showed me his +15 acc/att.
I went back to trading +2 snow stones and got my +12 within 10 stones.

Edit:

I traded 23 +2 and 12 +1 stones this morning and didn't see a single combined augment or a value over 15.

It must be specific to one of the Snow varieties. I only had one Slit, two Tip, and the rest were Orb.

So you guys can trust me now!
And yeah, I was as skeptic as you Byrth, exactely because after a plethora and months of stones I've NEVER seen a combined one.
They might have patched something over the last 6 months, I dunno.

Well I'll be ***! 35 Snowslit +2s later and I got Acc/Atk+14.

14 Snowslit +2 after that, I saw the first augment with potency over 15 (and it was Acc+20).

There's something thoroughly weird about this augmenting.

Anyway, now I have 20 Acc on my Linos. That 5 Acc only cost me like 10mil!

I wonder if the current skirmish gear augment campaign was either mis-communicated or mis-implemented - and it's working on Alluvion gear too.

I've burned through a lot of leaf/dusk stones this month for various sets. I'm inclined to say it's working same as always. If there was any unexpected difference, we'd have likely noticed it by now (ie in one of the previous months where both campaigns were active).

It also bears repeating that Byrth burned 49 Snowslit +2s to get that acc+20 aug, to say nothing of the stones spent previously.

Aye, 49 Snowslit stone +2s gave me a single Acc/Atk+14 and a single augment (or any kind) with potency higher than 15. It just happened to be Acc+20. So all of my augment potencies were in the 14-15 range, and then I get a 20. I've done a lot of Skirmish augmenting and never seen something like that.

I guess if you add in the other snowshit I used earlier that day we're up closer to 15mil.

Regardless, sunk cost. Also, Linos is pretty unlikely to be replaced as a melee piece for BRD ever.

Is WSD an "off-path" augment no matter what stone you use or was I just unlucky after seeing it once in about 40 slits and 40 tips? Also I found it rather odd that about 8/10 of the DAs I saw were only DA+1 using +2 stones. I didn't think using +2s could give you a minimum augment value.

Got a Moonbow Whistle +1 today. Tested it with Honor March (+4) and found that it was either 173 or 174 /1024 Haste. I couldn't distinguish the two, but 174/1024 would be 127*1.4.

So Byrth, the following values are wrong?
They were just hypothetical, not tested.
Chiaia and Funkwork did some march tests with Moonbow+1 as well but can't find their results atm :x

Asura.Sechs said: »
Hypothetical values should be:
Advancing March +7 = 17,6% (181/1024)
Advancing March +8 = 18,7% (192/1024)
Victory March +7 = 27% (277/1024)
Victory March +8 = 28,6% (293/1024)
Honor March +3 = 16,1% (165/1024)
Honor March +4 = 17,2% (177/1024)

Well, it's less than 175/1024 Haste because Curaga II with Honor March+4/Haste spell has a 7 second recast instead of 6. It's greater than 172/1024 because Klimaform with Honor March+4/Victory March+0 has a 120 second recast instead of 121.

So we end up with a range of 173-174, which I have no way to distinguish at present. (unless I get a SMN to help me)

I'll hit up Sechs or Funk later and see if we can get that test done if you can't find a SMN before us.

Okay, Advancing March is actually 108/1024 Haste and Honor March +0 is actually 126/1024, while Honor March +4 is 174/1024 Haste. Victory March +0 is still coming in at 163/1024

Hmph, really need to re-test +7 and +8 values for Advancing and Victory March as well then.
Thanks for all your provided numbers so far Byrth!

I wonder how is 40% applied to that 126/1024 honor march, to make so the result is 174 instead of >176?

Edit:
Think I got it.
126 / 100 = 1.26
Let's cut the last digit => 1,2 x 40 = 48
126 + 48 = 174
There, 40% applied to Honor March and results corresponding Byrth's numbers.
This kinda makes me wonder how and where the rounding happens with Honor March when you use Marcato (50% bonus) or Soul Voice (100% bonus) though.
