Hey everyone, just wanted to see who here has a personal firearm, for either self defense, hunting, or sport... and what weapons you carry... whats your favorite handgun, and or rifle/shotgun... etc...
I personally have a Mossberg 535 tactical pump shotgun and a Walther PK380... And thinking here eventually getting a Walther 9mm

I have a Citadel Arms shorty 1911 in .45, Taurus PT-1911 in .45, Hi-Point blowback in 45, Baretta PX4 Storm in 9mm, Springfield XDM in 45, Baretta 92A in 9mm, Taurus PT-140 Millenium series in 40, and a bunch of other pistols.
For shotguns, I have a Charles Daly Field Tactial 12g and a Mossberg 500 12g.
For rifles there is a Colt M4 in 22LR, an FN Scar Light in 5.56, an FN PS-90 in 5.7, and the MSAR STG 556 I bought off my sister.
But my pride and joy is my Guncrafter Industries 50 caliber 1911. Oh how I love that beast. I damn well should... I cost me the majority of an income tax return check.

Matter of fact, I served the majority of my adult life in the military. Not to mention I am now civilian law enforcement.

Automobiles are far more destructive weapons than guns, and they're used for killing people.

Last time I checked, cars had purposes stretching beyond vehicular manslaughter.

There are lots of things out there that cause far more deaths in any given year than people killing people with guns. Cigarettes and alcohol for example. Those are legal. Cars that folks die in or are struck by. Those are legal. Folks choke people with their bare hands. Lets criminalize hands!
My point is that so many demonize guns when they fail to realize (or refuse to) that until you get rid of people with bad guy mental processes, there will always be shootings and stabbings and muggings, etc.

Personally I see trying to blame weapons instead of the psychopathic guilty party for the killings that he chose and planned to do is cheapening their deaths.
But anti-gun people will use anything to further their agenda, so it comes as no surprise.
