Hi, just wondering if anyone knows of any way get the silence plugin to work on the Japanese client? Or know of any programs that do something similar that may work? Or if it may possible work with the JP client in the future? It's really horrible gear swapping on a mage especially now, getting like 20 lines of "Equipment change." in a row >< please help me! Thank you /bow

It should (mostly) work for every client language. It's possible something broke, so I'll look into that when I get some time.

All of my cheerios if you add an option to silence that allows us to cancel multiple lines of COR and BRD buffs.

I will also give you the cheerios of my people if you condense the messages onto a single line for multitarget buffs.

I've uploaded a new version of Silence which should fix the problem.

Silence 1.2

I'm really reluctant to do this. Is there any reason you can't just use chat filters?

If you use the chat filters to do it, it also blocks some important notifications. I forget exactly what it is because I have left them on for years now, but I think it is messages like "Byrth is paralyzed."

SE's filters are too broad in general.

I've noticed since upgrading to this that //silence no longer casts Silence. Did this update reserve the name "silence" for the plugin?

1.2 doesn't load for me (I use JP client), I get Error: silence - failed to load plugin - (127)Unknown Error. Seems to work on my friend's EN client though.

Yes, it did, sorry about that. Fixed in 1.21: http://forums.windower.net/files/file/60-silence/

Thanks! Works great now!

Prz to has reconsider AoE buff adjustments. It would be so great to never see 6 consecutive "receives the effects of Protect/March/Minuet/Chaos Roll" messages again.

Also, "You cannot use that command while viewing the chat log." spam elimination would probably be useful.
