The New embrava and PD
It caps effectiveness for most Buff BP durations (like Fleet Wind, Earthen Armor, etc.), but Avatar's Favor hits a new Tier at 512 and it looks like PD will continue improving up to 600 skill.

Not really considering it's not possible to get a skill anywhere near 600. The max Alexander will be able to do is 41 seconds as the highest possible SMN skill is 535 with every possible piece of gear. Unless they plan on adding a TON of new +SMN skill gear. I bet you can hit the 600 summoning skill after the level cap is increased when the expansion is released.

The level cap won't increase. But more skill gear and merit caps will likely be increased. I think completely removing the Regain effect from Embrava is pretty HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, and replacing it with Refresh is kind of a slap in the face. They could adjust it to say 2-3 per tic or something, especially with the lol90seconds duration. To remove the effect entirely is sad news. Perfect Defense makes sense to me and I think it's a more "balanced" fix than the one waiting for poor Embrava.
I don't do ADL or Legion, and although I'd love to give NNI a go, it's not going to happen because no one puts groups together, including me, and most groups who can complete it sell the clears instead of playing with others legitimately. So, I wont really notice either of these adjustments directly. Valefor.Prothescar said: » Pretty immense nerf. What'd they do to resolution?

Then they're going to expect SMN's to go hunting down every new piece of +SMN skill to get to the mythical 600. Other jobs don't need to be at the absolute max skill to get the best effect of their 2 hour. Can actually see this having a major effect on NNI. Without immense luck, I could see even floor 80 being a bit of a problem.

Pretty sure SE stated that they had no plans to do anything to Resolution specifically, and any of the merited WSs in general. I don't recall source though.

They're cutting too much and compensating too little. I'm all for Embrava being not nearly as good as before, but worthless? And cutting Legion mobs HP by 10% to compensate? Joke.

This isn't affecting BLU nearly as much as other DDs. We don't rely entirely on the haste and regain for our damage output in nyzul and we can compensate for losing the regen. If anything this would make BLU the premiere DD for nyzul, but you'd have to consider that COR may be worth a slot now almost which compensates for the loss of regain a tad, but I don't see it being worth the slot at all personally. |
