You're forgetting that provoke forces your target. Meaning you cannot /ma "self buff" <me> or /ja "Self buff" <me>.
This only implies if you provoke the master. If you provoke the Automaton it will still do things to you and itself.
If you provoke the master, he cant use any manuevers, making the puppet vunerable. If you provoke before the puppet is Deloyed to you, we can not deploy the puppet to you for 15 seconds or so (varies how long Provoke lasts)
I always figured if someone is running a provoke automaton the DRK won't care if he's provoked, he wants to cast enfeebles on the automaton anyways like sleep/break and then turn attention to the PUP once the automaton is out of the way.
It's merely a decoy. It's a way to keep him off of you for 15 seconds. If he sticks around to debuff the auto, he'll be getting debuffed from the PUP.

PUP has two forms of curing the automaton a 3rd if over 75. Also WAR type puppet has shield bash it detects spell casting and interupts it.

Automaton voke landing rate is very good, like WAR main as I think someone pointed out already.
WAR main voke landing rate is 80% I think btw.

I said just a little bit ago I'm leveling a mule to transfer and I still need to collect some gear/merits/skill up, there is already going to be some gear I want to have but I'm not going to be able to get it in the remaining time, so I'll have to live with it.

There's those Ebur Gants Upbeat posted but it looks like you have to do a bunch of random treasure casket opening to get the right evoliths, with the amount I'm able to play during the week completing those to my satisfaction could almost take all month if I'm unlucky, so simply put I have to put that off until more important stuff is done so I'll have even less time to casket hunt.
I want to test Twilight Cloak and if I wanted one I'd have to get Shinryuu access.
There's a fast cast +5 torque from meeble marrows, I've never done meeble marrows and don't have anybody to do that with, and I'm not sure how good drop rates are.
Would want the WoTG status ailment's earring under some scenarios possibly, have to clear WoTG for that from scratch of course, like no cavernous maw warps or anything, no allied notes, etc.
There is some AH stuff that may not get put up in time, even if it did I can't really afford it, that stuff I could maybe borrow.
