We're not even seeing her fight really. It's just a bunch of 'kill shots' against Kenpachi.

Neat finding out why his power has been so inconsistent though.

I always found it funny that he lost to Ichigo but then turned around and fought Tosen and Komamura 1v2.

Indeed, the Hougokyou thing was a better explanation.

Or even to say that even Kenpachi had some sense of justice, even that would have been better.

Still, this chapter has been better than Bleach has been in several weeks.

The general principal is fine, and actually speaks of forethought. It's an idea I envy not coming up with myself. I just think he took too long to execute the idea, which let it sit and stagnate.
