Ahh the scene with Locke and Celes in Albrook... this music gets me EVERY time
I think Dancing Mad would have made me happier, but I can't complain at all.
VI had great music, my personal favourites being Kefka's theme, Dancing mad, Cyan's theme, Edgar's theme and Zozo. Terra's theme is a solid option too.

I've seen it performed live a few times, and they always do the whole version. :) As Darsha said above, the live opera version is AMAZING. The recording on the Distant Worlds CD is really well done and will give you a feel for what it's like.
First time I heard it live, I was about ten rows back from the stage, on the same side that the performers stood on. The woman singing Maria's part had tears in her eyes while performing it. They got a well-deserved standing ovation.
Unfortunately, they used the Georgia Tech Chamber choir for the Atlanta Distant Worlds concert for the vocals... The female vocalist RUINED maria's part.
Only track that might've been better would've been "Searching For Friends" with the Flute Solo

Uematsu is a really cool guy. During the meet and greet of Distant Worlds in Atlanta he was the life of the party. Cracked a number of jokes from what I remember. I should have brought more games for him to sign then...

Did you get chills when the harp started playing in the opening song for the concert too? lol Man I almost teared up when I heard it in person. Distant Worlds was bucket list worthy for me haha.

I dont think its better than an entire expansion but yeah, great news.
