Well that was interesting, got summoned to Dark Anor Londo on top of another Darkmoon getting double teamed... happened to spawn right next to the host. Then got summoned again and they were killed somewhere as I was spawning XD

Doesn't a Darkwraith invasion have a level range to it? I know Darkmoon doesn't but I figured that was more for role play reasons and somewhat balanced by only being invaded if you have sin.

Yay! made it to Anor Lando!
Iron Tarkus got trapped during that fight >_> but he somehow took the Golem off the edge xD

I was doing fine against it though xD but it got to close to the edge he got stuck on, he made it fall back but it killed him too :( poor guy.
Now I can get a Black Knight Sword :3 and maybe a shield!

On attempt 12 with Artorias, I'm having a hardtime reading some of his actions, mainly the one that killed me lol.

Balder Shield, Drake Sword, and Pyromancy Flame+10.
The best weapons I have that I can use atm.

PC and Lv 70

Had an awful time on artorias with a light melee/caster build until I upgraded my weapon, probably took me 15 failed attempts to stop being stubborn. You can evade/block most of his attacks pretty easily, the only thing I had problems with was doing enough damage to stop him from powering up before upgrading my weapon. Also in my opinion it's almost always safest to block his attacks in melee range besides the flipping jump chain he does, easy to side roll that.

That isn't a bad attempt, the only advise I'd give you is to stay close to him and 2 hand swing when you can get it in. Also, when he's powering up, run up to him and 2 hand swing until he stops. This is why you stay close to him, so you can prevent him from getting that boost. It should take 2-3 hits until you stagger him. This prevents him from powering up and becoming super powerful.

I also noticed that you didn't use your estus flask at all, but you didn't really get hit until he got you of course.

You go in strong, that's good, but you feel the pressure and start evading more than you should and keeping your distance (maybe because you were damaged, not sure).

The style you played with at the beginning would of worked throughout the whole fight, but I find the more interesting fights is when the player struggles to survive and pulls off a win, so it was very cool to watch.

Is it wrong to just toss great lightning spears at people who use Iron flesh? just seems like easy souls ;/

I thought he had fairly high magic resistance but not fire resistance? I would pop a crystal homing soulmass whenever there was some downtime from his lunging attacks, and it seemed to do a lot less than on normal enemies.

i find artorias best fought with a tank or dex build something like

ornsteins spear and havel's sheild or artoria's greatsheild ring of favor with calamity ring, while wearing havel's armor or giants

or my personal fav set that i use

uchigatana, grass sheilds, darkmoon talismen (for heals, sunlight blade, and lightning spears), and composite bow (or avelyn) with full lords blade gear, ring of favor, and wolfs ring

basicaly imo u ether take as less dmg as u possiably can... or u dont take the dmg at all by evade/counter

I did Artorias with Balder's sword +15, don't remember which shield, Long bow +14 and canvas talisman. I was actually able to stagger him using the bow when he charged by standing in frount of him since he leans down when charging and seemed to put his head in line with the arrow, I was just shooting with normal lock on not zoomed with that. Only attack he had that gave me an issue after a few attempts was his lunge because I kept forgetting it would break my guard XD

ya his lunging atk counts as 4 hits (where he slides towards u if they all hit u) and his high jump atks he can stack 3-5 of them (mainly when hes buffed) and if ur using a small shield then it'll easily break ur guard... via why i think hes best for tanks or dex builds because u can take any hit with ur shield or completely avoid them, never played agianst him as a caster but tbh i think ud want 2 be somewhat light for rolls since u rly dont use anything that speeds up stamina regen (unless ur using grass shield but still not a good blocking choice because of its low stability so rolling would still probably be best) because if ur soloing ur more then likely going 2 have alot of fun trying 2 cast and block or roll every few seconds if hes pressing u with jumps, lunges, or running 2 get into ur face

but this is just my opinion rly
