Alright, I figured you did those manually. I figured you had broken them up individually as well, so thanks for clarification!!
Been using this for Gates of Hades:
Any obvious upgrades here? And how much str/dex beats mab for this spell? Like swapping +2 hands instead of athos's gloves :x I've treated it similar to Charged whisker because of the weird mods for a magical spell. That looks pretty solid to me. Would change Athos's Gloves for Mavi hands.
That's cool, I'm 11 plans away from Morrigan's robe +1 as well, so I figured that would beat toci's too :3
Oddly, I couldn't find this anywhere and currently having some self-doubts; sorry if it's been stated somewhere else.
Can DA, TA, and now QA proc on BLU multihit physical spells? I feel stupid asking this question, but now I'm not so sure.. Thanks in advance! With the changes done to Healing Magic Skill, are Aquasoul rings x2 still the best rings for Curing builds? What about Ephedra Ring or Sirona's ring? How much is Healing Skill worth these days?
blue magic wasn't adjusted
Valefor.Prothescar said: » blue magic wasn't adjusted Cure potency still holds the highest effect on blu cures, no? Then VIT/MND? You need approximately 3 points of healing magic skill per every 1 point of MND for equal effectiveness. MND > VIT > Healing Magic Skill
Kinda sad they didn't adjust that as blu/sch would be doing some nice cures.
They can just give us a new cure spell with the expansion instead that is more mp efficient than fruit, stronger than plenilune and has a nice trait linked to it. Oh and stay with 3 set point cost! /nod. Piercing delta thrust/heavy strike-like spell + new potent cure spell that make critical attack bonus pls, ty se

Is the OP being constantly updated as new gear comes out? It looks like it, I just wanted to make sure the "best sets" are still current.
yes

And spells able to be set. Ive found myself running into spell cap before spell point cap a few times...
Would anybody else sell their first-born into slavery for some spell sets that we could swap between on the fly, while still having the cooldown, but without needing to pick through them individually?

I have one question...How do I change (preferably on the fly) the gear set that I swap to after I WS/blue magic/etc.
Meaning this: I want to be able to switch to my PDT/Evasion set as a default instead of TP sometimes...Or do I just do that manually in the spellcast before I venture off into those specific situations? Sylph.Oraen said: » Would anybody else sell their first-born into slavery for some spell sets that we could swap between on the fly, while still having the cooldown, but without needing to pick through them individually? I would LOVE to just hit a macro and have it swap to a different spell set. As you said, keeping the cooldown timer because it's needed, it's just a pain to have to go in there manually, especially when jumping from VW to other events and back. Bismarck.Diablosword

Id sell all my children into slavery for this. Twice. Most people use Yugl's xml, some sort of variation based off of his, or at least something that incorporates a lot of the same thing. In this xml, he uses "Poison V" as the trigger spell to change between TP sets. This part here: Code <!--- Change TP set type ---> <if spell="Poison V"> <cancelspell /> <if advanced='"$VAR-TP"="HASTE"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP ACC" /> </if> <elseif advanced='"$VAR-TP"="ACC"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP EVA" /> </elseif> <elseif advanced='"$VAR-TP"="EVA"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP HASTE" /> </elseif> <addtochat color="135">TP Variable: $VAR-TP</addtochat> <if status="engaged"> <command>Dancing Chains</command> </if> </if> So all you would need to do would be to either type //poison5 or you could make a macro (/ma "Poison V" <t>, or something like that) that would toggle between TP sets. You can even add in other sets. For instance, mine looks like this: Code <!--- Change TP set type ---> <if spell="Poison V"> <cancelspell /> <if advanced='"$VAR-TP"="MAVI"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP THAUMAS" /> </if> <elseif advanced='"$VAR-TP"="THAUMAS"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP EVA1" /> </elseif> <elseif advanced='"$VAR-TP"="EVA1"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP TPPDT" /> </elseif> <elseif advanced='"$VAR-TP"="TPPDT"'> <var cmd="set VAR-TP MAVI" /> </elseif> <addtochat color="135">TP Variable: $VAR-TP</addtochat> <if status="engaged"> <command>Dancing Chains</command> </if> </if> It has my basic Thaumas-based TP set, then switches to a set that adds a bit of refresh if needed, then evasion, then PDT, then finally back to the Thaumas set. It will default back to whichever set you have selected after every spell/WS like you asked for also. Offline

Is there a way I can just add that code to Proth's xml???
You'd have to set up a few variables and rules for it to work. I can try if I have time later but I'm generally pretty crap at this sort of thing lol

I might just transfer all my gear sets over to the other one. Just too lazy and that's a pain! Haha.

First, is oce head best only if you have toci's? Pil is a total *** and I'm 0/300+ (bout 350 now). Would the NQ work just fine with/without Toci's? There is only a 1 dex difference, and there isn't much of an attack difference. I can't imagine that would warrant the 2.4M difference in price tags. Is thaumas head good if I use legs/feet (ocythoe isn't popular and those damn legs won't drop for me either >_<)?
Oce head +1 is still best if you don't have like Khepri Bonnet or some such. NQ is fine without Toci's, it's still the highest DEX piece you can get besides +1.
If I had thaumas along with my current gear and your situation, Ocelomeh hat (+1) Loki's Kaftan / Athos tabard (don't have this but you might) Tumbler Trunks Thaumas Nails Re-re-edit: Set bonus with 3 pieces of Thaumas is only +5. Nah, I don't have tabard. I'll throw up a proposed WS set in a sec, and see if y'all can help me out :).
That's about what I'm lookin at. Don't mind the off-hand sword, mine currently sucks. The STR sword is what I'm looking to push after 85 almace. Apad horns are going to be a *** and 1/2 for me, so that's nto priority atm, but just want the 85 for now. Also I'm working on Thaumas head if that turns out to be better due to set bonus/crit rate, as well as thaumas hands. This is my old set.
For the set you posted, Tumbler Trunks (always cheap) and Kacura Mittens +1 (might be expensive) are good improvements. If you don't wanna fork out cash for the hands, Athos hands are fine. I use athos hands and feet in my current set. Note I don't have any thaumas. :P |
