off handing coruscanti with mandau. sorry its hard to make out but what is goin on in that attack is the mandau proc'd first then right after coruscanti proc'd. as you can see it wasnt a triple attack set proc. and as i was watching the attack i saw the higherr dmg coming from coruscanti.

Sylow, here's the image you requested from Fahkyu, found it off the site he referenced.
It's most likely a set proc.

273 DMG no crit -> 648 Crit -> 780 Crit.

I figured it could only be Mandau or Set Proc.

Your sample size is way too large to not notice a hit that high. That'd be one massively skewed random-number-generator event.

It would be even worse because I didn't know about the extra attacks detail tab until Motenten mentioned it.

So Crimy and I literally. Watched. Every. Single. Attack. Happen.

Maybe they'll actually get a response!

Greetings Everyone,

I would like to start this replay by stating the fact I recently acquired Coruscanti and tried my own testing.
Though I’m not a professional analyst or hardcore gamer like some of you guys ( <3 Sylow) so please bare with my Armature Vocabulary.
This is a breakdown for the conditions I put the test to:
• Coruscant equipped in Main hand alone as a DNC.
• Support Job was White Mage to eliminate the benefits of any other mele Jobs.
• Engaged with Bluffalo without any gear except the main hand weapon only SABER DANCE was used for Double Attack.
• Blufalo checked Tough before engaging.
• No support buffs were added via Crour except HP and MP for survival needs.
• No food or magic buffs were added except Haste.
Herewith are the data extracted from the whole test:

This is an overall chart of the damage output the whole period.

Herewith is the percentage of Critical Hits obtained throughout the fight:

Please note that the percentage was calculated this way:
Total hits=89
Critical hits acquired=21
Percentage=21/89= 4.24%

Please note that the percentage was calculated this way:
Total hits=89
ODSD acquired=5
Percentage=5/89= 0.06%
NOW IF SE WRITES 5% CRITICAL HITS THEN:
The error margin =100%-(4.24/5)=15%
So the true percentage of Coruscanti Proc =0.06*15%=0.09% proc rate.

I hope this helps somehow.

A sample size of about ~1000 attacks is really needed.
The most important thing is to see whether or not it still forces onto all hits if it procs on one of them, but I don't think it is based on what you've already posted unless it never proced on a double attack (highly possible for such a small sample size)

Seems like they may hae kept the original 10% proc rate that I estimated for occuring on a multi-attack and just made it a normal effect.

Oh I see, was just noticing the ODSD without critical hits.
I mean it does proc as you can see from chart but your absolutely right more hits are needed just was afraid that each monster will have different status to mess up the analysis.
Thanks for the feedback.

If what you say is the closest to being accurate then most of these procs happened without double attack.
it was not that easy to follow up with double attack animation, maybe video recording would have helped.

That's not a Coruscanti proc, that's a THF AF3+2 set bonus proc. It triples damage. If you have Twashtar with the Aftermath up, you can get a 6x damage bonus proc on a SA/TA, netting you ~20k damage with the right Atma/gear.

So possibly a silly question and I guess really situational... But given the dex bonus of a Eva dagger, wouldn't most the time losing the evasion lost versus the damage gain isn't worth off handing this weapon when using rudras storm? You gain dex slightly helping damage and get Eva? Though guess if only DDing this wins? But then again change jobs?
