The Last Dance: Gearing Paradigms for a New Age
IMO people will eventually get off the Tactician's Train and start using Chaos again when they realize how much Tactician's isn't actually buying them, but whatever.
how much is chaos going to affect a wildfire cor?
If only parses could add the extra damage resulting from buffs to the damage of the buffer.
2 rolls that can last how long? and you are worried about that? you are really stretching it now.
Anyway, the type of hypothetical build your proposing which may or may not be possible and certainly isn't possible all the time, doesn't currently apply to any in-game content.

What I mean was the potential boost from COR buffs outweighs the extra 1-2 wildfires. In which case there will be other people there fighting, and therefore weaponskilling, interfering with your attempts to create melee-chains.

Having fought Dynamis NMs, even at 99, you're going to be hard-pressed to low-man them. ADL?
I figured you must have meant lost NMs, because the regular NMs aren't all that much harder than the normal mobs, and by the time they're proc'd, you should be able to kill them in 2 WS.
ADL is a PD fight. The Lost NMs will pretty much require you to sub NIN and/or use evasion gear (probably both).
They hit reallllllllyyy harrrdddd. Bismarck.Sylow said: » The Lost NMs will pretty much require you to sub NIN and/or use evasion gear (probably both). They hit reallllllllyyy harrrdddd. Tree can one-shot you with leafstorm. I'm sure the golem can one-shot you. Regular Fairy Ring can hand you your ***. Lost Nan'Tina spams 2k WS then charms. I'm sure the lost dragons in Bubu can *** you up, but I've no experience with them.

shell, baraera etc etc
It'a a 3-hit physical AoE attack from Treants. No clue why it's a wind spell for BLU.

if thats the case i got nothing for that then.
I don't know how Lost Stringes/Scolopendra are, they could be better or worse.
I also don't know about the city/northland dyna NMs, they could be better. Quadav/Kindred/Hydra have disgusting defense though, so blech. you know (off subject). now that i think about it. why did dnc have to farm quadav for a testimony anyways? i mean thats like going after a rock with 2 butter knives.
I actually know the answer to that.
Quote: It so happened that in those days, mountainfolk from the hinterlands of the Gustaberg region would sometimes travel to Bastok to peddle medicinal herbs. The quelling of the near-maniacal outbreaks of saturnalia would find its form in the native dancers of these tribes. With no hesitation despite the apparent dangers of contagion to themselves, they would roam the city streets and visit barracks, displaying the aggressive yet graceful steps of their people's traditional dance, the Kriegstanz, with a timeless elegance. The majestic rhythms pounded out by these confident women and their motions, full of life, captivated observers instantaneously. And it was not long before the morose Totentanz rituals faded away as quickly as they had come. Some years later, the significant role the dancers played in the defeat of the deadly epidemic which claimed so many Bastokan lives was commemorated by the president in a now famous speech: "Though none can deny the scientific strides made by our great alchemists in curing this foul plague, praise is due also to those fearless masters of dance who came to us in our most dire hour. For it was their impassioned artistry that delivered us from the tyranny of this most lethal of epidemics, and the terror which had fast gripped our very hearts." And so it was that the dancers came to be credited with ending the Bastokan Blight. for nostalgia edit: wtf, is she wielding Asteria? |
